Overlooking one of the most beautiful coast lines in Algarve, Villa Lygia is a stunning contemporary villa in the charming white-washed village of Vale D'el Rei, minutes away from the local amenities and restaurants, and only half an hour's walk from the golden sands of Praia da Marinha beach.

The villa has sleek, fully-fitted modern yet homely interiors, which harmonise seamlessly with an exterior sympathetic to the classic local architecture. The spacious villa can comfortably accomodate up to six guests. On the ground floor, with huge windows overlooking the wonderful pool area, there is a cosy living room with a romantic open fireplace, blending into a beautiful open-plan kitchen-dining area. On this floor there is also a double bedroom with access to the garden, and a twin bedroom. Guests staying in these bedrooms can make use of the family bathroom which is complete with both a shower and bathtub. Upstairs on the second floor is a majestic master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, opening onto a gorgeous terrace.

Complete with Wi-Fi, English television and a fully equipped kitchen, this villa has everything you need to feel at home away from home. This makes the villa a perfect option for families.
Outside, there is a good-sized, private, swimming pool surrounded by an al-fresco dining area, which is all set within a beautiful garden. There are sunbeds positioned around the pool on which guests can choose to bathe in the sun or relax under the shade of the palm trees with a good book.

#### Location
Once a sleepy fishing village, nearby Carvoeiro now has all the amenities you need; shops, banks, post office, English speaking doctors, the delightful fresh seafood restaurants, bars, and night life. Carvoeiro is renowned for its dramatic cliffs and coves, and its centuries-old caves, which you can visit by boat. Perhaps you would like to visit a winery and taste some of the local vino; Portimao wine is renowned, a consequence of Algarve's varied soil and unique climate beloved of tourists and vine trees alike – never too hot, never too cold. The closest beach is situated just 3km away from the villa.

From the coast you can take boat excursions from Portimao´s harbour including dolphin watching; or going inland you will find the Monchique and Foia mountains, nearly a kilometre high at their zenith.
