The rear of the cottage has a large private patio and a large garden with fantastic views of the Dorset countryside. Hillview Cottage borders acres of open fields and a 5 acre wood.

Hillview Cottage is situated in the quiet hamlet of Littlewindsor on the border of Dorset, Devon and Somerset. Littlewindsor is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, conveniently situated 3.5 miles from Beaminster, 10 miles from the market town of Bridport's and it's harbour West Bay (where the TV series Broadchurch is filmed) and 14 miles from both Lyme Regis and Charmouth, making it an ideal base from which to explore the many beaches, villages and towns of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and beautiful surrounding countryside. Hillview Cottage is 3 miles from Axnoller House, and is often used as a base by guests attending weddings at Axnoller House.

The cottage is located on a very quiet country lane. The nearest pub is a 30 minute scenic walk (1.5 miles) up the lane in Broadwindsor.
