VILLA MON REPOS is a luxury villa and former art gallery situated in the centre of Positano, about 550 m from the beach. There are 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a private swimming pool with hydro-massage, garage, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and large terraces, all with a gorgeous view of both Positano and the sea. Villa Mon Repos is about 800 square meters in size (360 square meters inside, 440 square meters outside) and is suitable for up to 12 people. It is one of the few villas on the Amalfi Coast that you can access without having to climb any steps (there is an elevator from the garage).


Villa Mon Repos was built in 1906 by Marquis Nino Marciano and was one of the first art galleries in Positano. There is testimony to this throughout the villa in the form of the paintings and splendid poetry of the marquis and his family. After many improvements, in particular to enhance the structure, Villa Mon Repos is a fantastic combination of history, art and technology making for an unforgettable stay in the pearl of the Amalfi Coast. The spectacular view from the “Punta Reginella”, is another of the villa’s highlights.

The villa is in the centre of Positano, close to restaurants, shops, supermarkets and bars. Positano’s Spiaggia Grande beach and the church of Santa Maria Assunta are only 500 m away.

To stay at Villa Mon Repos, a car is not necessary. But, if you are travelling by car, the villa has a private garage (for six small vehicles or four medium-sized ones), which is accessed from the main street.

From the garage, you access the villa using the private elevator that opens at various floors, or alternatively by climbing 10 small steps from the street.

Villa Mon Repos is spread out over three floors with various private sea view terraces and a wonderful swimming pool with hydro-massage and cascade features.

The villa is ideal for large families or groups of friends who want to stay together but at the same time have their own privacy. It is also possible to organize events on request.

THE FIRST TERRACE is 200 square meters in size and is equipped with a large table and chairs for 12 people, benches, sunbeds and parasols. From the terrace, it’s possible to admire a gorgeous view of Positano and the sea. Here you will also find the swimming pool, which is 6.2 x 4 m in size and between 0.3 and 1.6 m deep. The pool is lined with special chromatic tiles which change the color of the water depending on the water depth and the direction of the sun’s rays. The pool also boasts six hydro-massage points with vents to massage the back and thighs. As well as the hydro-massage, the pool is fitted with a cascade feature and a lighting system of six 50-W lights. Around the pool, there is a channel for run-off water, and there is a ceramic mural depicting a scene from the cloister of Santa Chiara in Naples. The pool is available for use from 1st April to 4th November. The terrace is accessed from the third living room.

GROUND FLOOR

THE SECOND TERRACE is around 35 square meters in size and equipped with a table and chairs, sun beds, parasols and a hydro-massage bath for vinotherapy treatment (this can be used on request). From this terrace, you will be able to admire a beautiful view of Positano and the sea. You get to the terrace via the first living room.

THE GYM is equipped with various pieces of apparatus, air conditioning and is accessed from the second terrace.

THE FIRST BATHROOM is fitted with a sink, toilet and shower, and is accessed from the gym.

THE LAUNDRY ROOM is equipped with a washing machine, iron and ironing board. You get to the laundry room from the second terrace.

THE FIRST LIVING ROOM is bright and comfortable. It contains chairs, a television, a billiard table and air conditioning. From the living room, you can access the second terrace.

THE FIRST KITCHEN is fitted with a five-hob gas stove, oven, fridge, freezer, coffee machine and dinner table for four people. Access to the kitchen is from the living room.

THE FIRST BEDROOM has a double bed and air conditioning/heating and is reached from the first living room.

THE SECOND BEDROOM has two single beds and is fitted with air conditioning/heating. You reach the bedroom from the corridor.

THE SECOND BATHROOM is fitted with a sink, toilet and shower, and is accessed from the living room.


FIRST FLOOR

THE THIRD TERRACE is about 70 square meters in size and comes equipped with a table, chairs and parasols. You reach the terrace from the second living room.

THE FOURTH TERRACE is about 40 square meters and partially covered. Here, you’ll find a hot tub and sunbeds. The terrace is reached from the second living room.

THE SECOND KITCHEN is equipped with a five-hob gas stove, oven, fridge, freezer, coffee machine and dinner table for four people.

THE SECOND LIVING ROOM is large and bright, contains sofas, chairs, a table and a television, and is fitted with air conditioning/heating.

THE THIRD BEDROOM contains a double bed and air conditioning/heating and is accessed from the second living room.

THE FOURTH BEDROOM has a double bed and air conditioning/heating and is accessed from the second living room.

THE THIRD BATHROOM is fitted with a sink, toilet and shower. You get to the bathroom from the living room.

SECOND FLOOR

THE FIFTH TERRACE is fitted with tables and chairs and is partially covered. From the terrace, you will be able to admire a beautiful view of Positano and the sea. You access the terrace from the fifth and sixth bedrooms.

THE THIRD LIVING ROOM is large and bright and contains a sofa, chairs and a table. From the living room, you have access to the large terrace and swimming pool.

THE THIRD KITCHEN is fitted with a five-hob gas stove, oven, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, dish washer and a dinner table for four people. From the kitchen, you can access the large terrace and swimming pool.

THE FIFTH BATHROOM has a shower, toilet, bidet and sink, and is accessed from the corridor.

THE FIFTH BEDROOM has a double bed and is fitted with air conditioning and heating. From the bedroom, you can access the fifth terrace with sea view.

THE SIXTH BEDROOM has a double bed and is fitted with air conditioning and heating. From the bedroom, you can access the fifth terrace with sea view.

THE SIXTH BATHROOM is fitted with a sink, toilet and shower. You reach the bathroom from the corridor.

THE SEVENTH BATHROOM is fitted with a sink, toilet and shower. You reach the bathroom from the corridor.

Important things to know:
- Tourist tax 1,50 Euro per day per person for the first 7 nights from April to October 31. The children under 18 years do not pay.
- For arrivals after 8:00 PM will be applied an extra cost of 60,00 euro to be paid at the arrival.
- Security deposit: 1000,00€. The security deposit will be returned prior to your departure unless there are accidental damages to the property.
