Description

Sometimes you find a villa with an amazing garden and pool, sometimes you find the perfect villa interior, sometimes the most spectacular views. At Villa Keri it is really hard to say which is best as everything is just spot on! Great attention to detail has been paid to the design and decor of Villa Keri to ensure that you have a luxurious and comfortable stay. With 3 superb bedrooms, the deluxe villa sleeps 6 guests though you could accommodate another 2 on the living room sofa bed.
The grounds are stunning with multiple levels, lush lawns, ancient olive trees, children's playground, shaded verandas, a sun terrace and a state of the art swimming pool with waterfalls, aero-massage and hydro-massage. There is also an outdoor shower. The views are absolutely breathtaking towards to beautiful bay and out to sea. The gorgeous olive trees sprinkled around the hilltop boundary compliment the glorious view. There is a very special, atmospheric, stone built outdoor dining area with built in barbecue and plenty of work surface as well as a modern canopy. The garden mood lighting just adds to the wonderful, tranquil ambience.

The interior of the villa is no less attractive. With calming, neutral colours it is both elegant and stylish. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is beautiful with a vaulted ceiling and huge glass doors with views of the garden and terrace. The superior kitchen has everything you would wish for and a useful breakfast bar. The large sofabed can sleep two additional guests. The artwork is very modern and eye-catching.

#### Location
Villa Keri occupies a prime, privileged spot on the hillside overlooking the bay of Keri and Marathonissi Island, known as Turtle Island. The beach below the villa is accessible through a private footpath next to the villa. You will find friendly tavernas, cafes, shops and mini-markets in the centre of Keri, 300m away. The village is enchanting.

While staying in this stunning location you really must rent a boat to visit Turtle Island, opposite the villa. You can enjoy the beautiful, clear, turquoise water against the silver sand. If you are lucky you may see the endangered Caretta turtles that swim around the island. You could also learn to scuba dive and admire the magnificent underwater world.

Towards Laganas, Agios Sostis is a charming, quaint coastal Greek village. Like Keri, it is surrounded by beautiful countryside and was named after a 16th century church dedicated to Saint Sostis. The village has a stunning backdrop of the mountains and a delightful beach. There are some charismatic bars and restaurants on the waterfront. You can also hire a boat from Agios Sostis over to Marathonissi Island.
Laganas is one of the two main tourist hotspots on Zakynthos along with Zante Town. Kalamaki is not far behind, though it is a little more laid-back. There is a good choice of restaurants at all of these resorts. The main street of Laganas runs along the lovely beachfront to Kalamaki. The 5km beach is wonderful with fine, silvery sand and sun loungers and parasols available as well as pedalos and boat trips to catch a glimpse of the protected Caretta turtles swimming around the bay. The beaches are part of the National Marine Park. The rare Caretta turtles lay their eggs in the sands of Gerakas, Dafni, Kalamaki, Marathonisi and Sakania, east of Laganas.
Most of the houses, shops and buildings in Zante Town were rebuilt after the destructive earthquake of 1953. Solomos Square is a focal spot with many restaurants and bars and the interesting Byzantine Museum and Cultural Center. Bochali is a 2km stroll from the centre of Zante Town. The panoramic views are stunning of the pretty harbour, Argassi and the Bay of Laganas. The charming alleys are lined with traditional cafes and old houses. The castle at the top of the hill is well maintained and a popular attraction. Delicious wines can be tasted and bought at Solomos Wines distillery. The cellars are very attractive and worth a visit.
