Description

If you're looking for an inspirational setting for your holiday, look no further than Villa Falti. A recently restored farmhouse positioned on the grounds of a castle and surrounded by idyllic Chianti countryside, it's pretty special.

And this is the place to immerse yourselves in true Tuscan country style. The villa itself is one of five properties on the castle estate. Boasting bountiful olive groves, vineyards and even saffron fields, there are so many ways to explore the vast grounds, and the castle itself. You can even join a tour of the castle, where you'll get the chance to step into the ancient underground cellars for a tipple of the estate's renowned wine.

But, firstly, to the villa. A beautifully renovated farmhouse complete with rustic wooden beams and typical Tuscan furnishings, it's elegant yet cosy and comfortable. Villa Falti comprises the main villa with seven beautiful and spacious bedrooms, each with their private bathroom and an independent annex with two additional bedrooms. It's the ideal place for an extended family or group of friends to enjoy the villa and its surroundings.

If you can manage to draw yourselves away from the gently sloping hills of Chianti and enter your villa, you'll be pleased you did. The kitchen is stylish, generously-sized and undoubtedly ample for cooking up a big Italian feast, using all the seasonal produce available to you of course. There's even a farm shop on-site - cinnamon jam anyone? But, if you're not quite in the mood for cooking, no worries, there's a restaurant in the grounds too - another opportunity to taste all that lovely olive oil and wine.

This is a self-catering family holiday made easy. If you want to take a night off from cooking, you can; if you've run out of anything, there's a shop on-site, if you're looking for things to do, there's plenty. You can even take cookery classes - and who wouldn't want to in Italy!

For the kids (and you, of course), there's a lovely private swimming pool where you can enjoy breathtaking views out towards the ancient walls of Castello del Trebbio. Or, just amble around the grounds. With so much of it to explore, you'll never tire of this beautiful, natural haven.

#### Location
Tuscany - FlorenceTuscany is as beautiful as everyone would have you believe and nowhere is that more evident than in Chianti.
Rolling hills, scattered olive groves and ancient vineyards, medieval hilltop towns and those iconic cypress trees - it's one place that's worthy of the much-used phrase 'awe-inspiring.' So, exploring the Fiesole hills of Chianti, where Villa Falti is tucked away, is special indeed.
Fiesole is a small, sleepy town with a petite piazza and some cafes - a lovely way to spend a lazy summer's day, but it's the drive through Tuscan countryside hills to see it, and the views over Florence, that are the real highlights.
Only 10km from Florence, this striking town is a must-see. The birthplace of the Italian Renaissance - it's bursting with culture, art, history and beauty. Whether it's the terracotta-tiled dome of the cathedral, the masterpieces in the Uffizi Gallery or the camera-ready Ponte Vecchio at dusk, there will always be something else to do. Or, you could just sit at one of the stylish bars and watch the world go by...
