The luxurious Villa Katerina enjoys stunning sea and mountain views from its location in the residential village of Metaxata in Kefalonia, the island known for its impossibly blue waters and stunningly sandy coves. The Villa combines traditional elegance with modern day comfort and is lavishly equipped with everything you could possibly need. With large rooms full of sunlight and space, and surrounded by three acres of private grounds for playing and relaxing, it is ideal for families or groups of friends to enjoy rural peace in a stunning environment. While away the day around the enormous family-friendly infinity pool with Jacuzzi whirlpool, located at the back of the landscaped gardens and available for the use of our guests. Enjoy evenings watching the stars over the sea from the extensive terraces, or find yourself drawn to the mesmerising lights of the Venetian Castle of St George.

Villa Katerina is very well positioned so you can experience all that Kefalonia has to offer. There is a souvlaki bar less than five minutes walk away for your convenience. More shops and tavernas can be found within walking distance in the neighbouring village of Lakithra. For those who wish to explore further afield, there are beaches to suit every taste less than 20 minutes drive away. The lively, picturesque capital Argostoli and the upmarket resort of Lassi are 15 minutes away. Off the beaten track, Kefalonia is a walker's paradise.....

ACCOMMODATION - fully air conditioned, sleeps 8-10 people

Ideal for 2 families holidaying together : four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two large bedrooms downstairs, one with kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom, the other a twin with bathroom next door. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom and a large single with a double capacity sofa bed, sharing a bathroom. The Villa is child-friendly - a cot and high chair can be provided, there are locks on upstairs windows, upstairs stair gate, and electric socket covers available.
Large living areas : downstairs boasts two large living areas. One of these areas has a sofa bed and can be converted to a fifth bedroom. The Villa is equipped with wifi, TV,, hi-fi system, and dvd including library of films for your entertainment. The large dining table can seat up to 10 people.
Fully fitted kitchen, equipped with hob, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher microwave, kettle, toaster. Breakfast bar.
Utility room - houses washing machine, iron, ironing board
Extensive terraces : all the rooms lead out onto verandas or balconies with panoramic views. Built in barbecue on a terrace over a stunning seascape.
Outdoor spaces : the villa is surrounded by landscaped gardens. Go out of the back gate into the swimming pool area. Stunning swimming pool that features Jacuzzi whirlpool area - perfect for sitting in and reading a book on a hot day. Or step through to our private estate and explore the orchards and secluded, wild garden spots.
