Kumbaya House is an Exclusively designed and decorated 2-storey Villa situated on the hill overlooking the Ocean with the Iconic Mandela´s Roben Island to your right, The City of Cape Town in the middle and Table Mountain to your left. As soon as you set foot inside the Property, it is hard not to feel the sense of welcoming, friendly and a home away from home feeling! This Villa offers privacy, peace and tranquility and great ambiance. From the Balcony, you can watch the fascinating, colourful African sunset with Liner-ships at the horizon waiting to get into Cape Town Harbour. A perfect time and place for a sundowner! It is a 10minute walk away to the beach-front, pubs, restaurants, cafés, drugstore, ATM, Liquor Stores, Supermarkets and so much more. From the Balcony on a windy day, the sea is swamped with colourful kites roaming the horizon. This is a popular Kite Surfing place where international competitions are also held at least once a year. Car rentals are within reach as well as Uber, local meter taxis and/or public transport at humane rates per travel. Cape Town has excellent meat and seafood restaurants as well as a whole lot of your usual takeaway joints. There are golf-courses all around and the nearest one being about a 15 minute drive away. There is a driving range nearby as well. For those who love to keep fit, there is Virgin Active Gym which is a 10minute drive away with other facilities such as: squash courts, swimming pool and tennis courts. In the City of Cape Town, you can buy a day´s ticket for an extensive sightseeing tour on the hop-on/hop-off bus. Must see sights: Table Mountain, Penguin Colony, Signal Hill, Chesapeake Bay, Chapman´s Peak, Camps Bay with it´s beautiful sandy beaches, Cape Point and so much more. The wine District is also a must see with it´s enormous vineyards for wine tasting, wine shopping and dining.. The Garden Route offers a spectacular drive with unbelievable sights sounds and varying landscapes. The West-coast road is fascinating with beach-fronts, golf courses, excellent meat and seafood restaurants and cafés. Along the West Coast Road, there is a National Park with a beautiful Lagoon and sandy beaches. Take a picnic basket, a few drinks, beach towels, and enjoy a good swim in the Lagoon. The beaches around the National Park are not overcrowded at all. There is also a section for Kitesurfing, Waterskiing, Snorkelling, Diving, Kayaking, fishing, Angling and boating.There are Hiking Trails, Bird Hides for Bird-watchers and bike trails The City of Cape Town with it´s V&A/Waterfront, offers a wide range of entertainment, interesting places of interest as well as endless shopping sprees. From here you can buy a boat trip to visit the iconic Mandela´s Roben Island or just to go on a cruising adventure for an hour or so. Canal Walk is the shopping mall one can´t miss visiting at least once.
