The property has beautiful garden views and provides plenty of outdoor space. As well as the stylish deck area with its swimming pool and irresistible hot tub, there's a large gazebo just a few steps away. Here you can relax in the lounge and dining areas, perhaps while enjoying something from the nearby barbecue.
Another terrace closer to the house offers additional seating and sun loungers, with open and covered areas. Children can enjoy playing on a swing or trampoline in the garden.
Inside, Villa Sofrito is light and open, with the accommodation set over two floors. Downstairs, you have an exquisite open-plan lounge and dining area with colourful art lining the walls. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, with a housekeeper and waiter on hand to help you during your stay, and additional lounge spaces around the property.
Each of the four bedrooms have a private en-suite bathroom and air-conditioning for extra comfort. The master bedroom is on the second floor and also offers a private terrace with garden views.
The villa is less than 1km away from the resort's private beach, Minitas, and within easy travelling distance of many more Casa de Campo amenities. These include the marina, fitness centre, spa and numerous entertainment venues and restaurants. The resort also offers a diverse range of sporting activities, including water-sports, tennis, polo, shooting and golf, with three excellent courses. Also, within a few minutes' walk is the charming Mediterranean-style village of Altos de Chavon, with a range of impressive attractions including an amphitheatre concert venue and cultural centre.

With an array of sports facilities, you can get your game on at the tennis courts, shooting range, equestrian centre, or maybe one of its three excellent golf courses. Water-sports lovers can go kayaking, snorkelling, deep-sea fishing or perhaps scuba-diving off the nearby islands to see the colourful coral reefs up close.
The resort's beach club on Minitas Beach has a relaxed vibe that is hard to resist. Go for dinner, stay for drinks, or get down there early for a day in the sun. Many other dining options are available around the resort, with several restaurants, bars and lounges serving up everything from local fare to Mexican, French and Italian dishes.
Also, on site you'll find a great spa and a fitness centre, while the gorgeous marina is a lovely place to relax post-workout. You can even stop by and catch a movie at the three-screen cinema close to the marina entrance.
Casa de Campo is located near the city of La Romana, and it's just a short drive from its international airport. Also, nearby, and free to visit for resort guests, is the charming village of Altos de Chavon – a modern-day recreation of a 16th-century village. It's hard to believe it only opened in 1982.
This very special destination sits on the riverside and has a number of attractions of its own. These include an archaeological museum and an impressive 5,000-seater amphitheatre where the likes of Bryan Adams, J-Lo and Sting have played. Also check out the artists' workshops and craft shops too – the Altos de Chavon School of Design is a centre for local creative talent.
