You will realise the reason for Albi being recently selected as a UNESCO World Heritage site, when you visit the world's largest brick cathedral Sainte-Cécile and the surrounding downtown. Prominent historic locations such as Cordes-sur-Ciel and Gaillac are at a short distance. Enjoy a day trip to Carcassonne. You can go hiking and walking on the centuries-old roads and paths in the hilly surroundings. Even a donkey can be taken along to carry your child and/or the picnic basket. The holiday accommodation is an authentic Pigeonnier apartment, which has been restored by the owner as per the norms of conservation, for a unique stay. Therefore, there is a very steep staircase and some running boards in and around the apartment. The apartment is edged by a garden, which merges into sunflower or corn fields. Above the first bedroom are the mezzanine and the second bedroom. You have access to the tower room above the second bedroom. A private entrance from outside is available in the apartment.
