Villino Stregatta is in the countryside, in a residential area, surrounded by a beautiful garden with a 10mx4m in-ground pool with a depth of 0.8-2.2 metres featuring ten sunbeds, an outdoor summer shower with hot water, a gazebo for outdoor breakfasts and a portable barbecue. There is a washing room in a separate building close to the house, with a washing machine, a dryer, an iron and ironing board and a sink. The owner’s hotel and restaurant is about 300 metres from the property. The entire outdoor area is well-kept, and the garden is completely fenced with a metal fence and a gate. The small villa has been converted from a family home to a touristic property, whilst maintaining its original structure which dates back to the 70s.
A glass door separates the garden from the main entrance on the ground floor, which leads to a living room with sofas and a convenient cold beverage dispenser, a dining room with direct outdoor access and a well-equipped kitchen. Rounding up the ground floor: a double bedroom (with two joined beds that can be separated upon request and TV) with bathroom with shower and a separate small bathroom.
The first floor is accessible via two staircases, one outdoor one (which was originally the main entrance) and one indoor. Here, guests will find 4 double bedrooms (the double beds can become two singles upon request), each with TV and a private bathroom with shower. Every bathroom has a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.
Location
The property is in a residential area in the countryside, 5 km from Fucecchio. Its history is that of the Via Francigena, which crosses the Arno river in this exact point to continue towards Valdelsa.
