The gite du Luberon is a convivial gite, which has a terrace under the trellis facing the swimming pool. it is a relaxing place to live in a family, with a dynamic tone and the charm of the garrigue that surrounds us.
Catherine will show you the perched villages of the Luberon, the Provencal markets and unusual randos outside the beaten path... We love the Luberon, its landscapes, but especially its lifestyle. We have chosen to bring you all the comfort and quiet possible in a natural environment, to spend a serene holiday, in all serenity, at home: in your holiday home in Provence!
Welcome to social dogs:)
The owners live there: we share our petanque court, archery, laughing in the pool, and our addresses for canoeing-kayak, accrobranch, hiking with teens, museums for children, high chair, etc...
Non-swimmers abstain ( thank you!)
I like the ancient country-house of Esclargades because it is nested in the scrubland, on the heights of the village perched by Lagnes: rural resort, in the entrance of the natural reserve of Luberon, and to the golden triangle of Isle on the sorgue, Fountain of Vaucluse and Gordes.
From here, you will discover the major tourist elements of the Luberon: the road of Ochre including Roussillon, Joucas towards the Provençal Colorado of Rustrel, but also the road of villages perched by Luberon such as Oppède the old man, Menerbes, Lacoste and the castle of the marquess of Sade... Bonnieux, then the crossing of the coomb of Lourmarin towards the forest of Cedars.

Go to the leases of Provence via st Remy of Provence, and visit the careers of Lights
On Sundays mornings, you will visit Isle on the sorgue: small Venice comtadine and its market, one of the most beautiful of Europe, which for me is a small jewel. You will roam all year long towards antique dealers' districts there and will mock precious objects. Chris will guide you towards the wine trail to enjoy the lifestyle in Luberon: manufacturer of nougat, walked from producers to Velleron and tasting in chateauneuf of the pope, via the laces of Montmirail, to Gigondas: landscapes which make the mouth water and tempt to take time to enjoy the holidays otherwis! Go a little of exercise for families: treetop adventure park and canoe are accessible on foot from the ancient country-house rides, night-restaurant in Avignon in private, after the visit of the palace of the popes or to stroll outside paths(ways) beaten towards Beaucet, Venasque, Goult, Joucas: If they have the same honorary title of more beautiful villages of France than Gordes, these small perched villages are still protected and I hope you will share my feelings: love of Provence, Luberon, its lifestyle, landscapes, his(her, its) light, his(her) painters, poets, his(her) lovers...
Then.. See you soon in Luberon?
