THE VILLA:

Villa Royalle is a stunning villa just metres from the seafront in Catalkoy, Cyprus. Built to an extremely high specification and with marble flooring throughout, the villa boasts several large reception rooms downstairs with a large family kitchen and dining area leading out to the patioed outdoor areas. The main living room is 10m X 6m and has a large sofa, suitable for families. There is also a separate dining area just off the main living room. Two of the five bedrooms are on the ground floor: one has a kingsize bed and the other is a twin room with sliding doors onto the patio area. Downstairs there is 1.5 bathrooms.

Outside there is a large infinity pool with views of the sea, perfect for the family having fun in or for swimming lengths 12m x 4.5m. The patio area surrounding the pool has a large dining area with table and chairs. A little further around there is a shaded pergola with sofas and fantastic views of the sea - great for chilling out with a drink at any time of day. On the opposite side of the pool, there is a large patio area that has sun all of the day and is a great area for sunbathing. There are also beautifully landscaped gardens to all sides of the property.

Upstairs there are three spacious bedrooms all of which have their own private balconies overlooking the sea. The master bedroom boasts a super-kingsize bed and large walk-in wardrobe with connecting ensuite bathroom. The sliding doors open onto a large balcony, perfect for morning coffee and catching up on the news of the day. Upstairs there is one large family bathroom with bath and shower.

The property is fully airconditioned throughout with high speed Wi-fi and satellite TV.


THE AREA:

The area is perfect for anyone who wants to escape the crowds that are typical of many other holiday destinations. There are plenty of modern supermarkets within minutes of the villa, and a wide choice of local restaurants ranging from the sophisticated to home-style cooking spanning cuisines from all over the world.

Just a few hundred yards from the villa is the Cornaro Beach Club. A few more yards away is the Shayna Beach Club. Both offer fantastic views of the Mediterranian, bars and serviced sun beds and cabanas

In the picturesque mountains directly behind the villa, there are many ancient and natural attractions for those who enjoy exploring. Unspoiled sandy beaches stretch along the coastline with hidden coves and secluded getaways around every bluff. Jump in the car for a 5 minutes drive and you will arrive at Alagadi beach, where between June and September you can witness baby turtles hatching.

There is a championship golf course just 10 minutes away and a must for those who want an exciting new golfing challenge. The course has some of the most spectacular views of the mountains and the Mediterranean that the island has to offer and you can enjoy a feast for the eyes whilst teeing off or enjoying a drink in the club bar.

Bellepais is a hidden gem nestled in the mountains that boasts stunning views of the island and some ancient, unspoilt architecture.It has many bars and restaurants as is the backdrop to the beautiful Bellepais Abbey, a must to visit while you are here.

Girne is the ancient capital of the island and is only a few minutes drive away. Here you will find a harbour that has seen some amazing history through the ages. The harbour is lined with dozens of bars and restaurants and it is a lively area. You will be spoilt for choice in terms of food and drink.

TRAVEL:

There are 2 international airports serving Northern Cyprus. You can either take a direct flight to Larnaca with a flight time of 4 hours from the UK. A taxi or minibus can be arranged to meet you at the airport. The journey to the villa is approx 1 hour and the cost approx £60 each way for 6 people.

Alternatively, you can take a flight to Ercan which is in the North. A taxi from here would be approx 30 minutes but flight times are longer due to an Istanbul stop off.

NOTES:

There is a courtesy weekly electrical allowance included. Excess usage will be passed on. The meter will be read on day of arrival and day of departure. The villa will be professionally cleaned before your arrival but should be left clean and tidy when you leave. Excess cleaning costs will be passed on.
