Description
The 130m2 villa, which can host up to six persons, is built in 2 levels. The upper level is an open plan space which includes the living room, the kitchen, and a small w.c., while the lower one includes 2 double- bedrooms (one of them with en-suite bathroom) and the main bathroom. In the same lower level there is also the guest house, which consists of a double- bedroom, a small kitchen and a bathroom. The villa has its own swimming pool, with a stunning view towards the sea, and is surrounded by large courtyards and verandas. The basic material which was used for the constructions was local stone. The house’s walls, which reach a width of 50cm, are 100% built out of stone, following traditional building techniques. The roofs, but also every wooden structure outside the house, are made of chestnut wood, which was brought from mt. Athos. The doors and windows are made also out of wood (niagon), and are equipped with modern mechanisms and insulation systems. Oak floors are used for the interior spaces.
