Description

Villa Solada is a sultry home characterised by exotic fabrics, sumptuous interiors, carved teakwood, Oriental flavour and gracious attention to detail. With a modern take on classic Thai heritage, warm and tonal touches blend with the most contemporary of finishes, set on the stunning 10km stretch of sand that is Natai Beach. With an interior crafted with sumptuous natural timbers, ornate design and lavish silken fabrics, there is a regal feel to this unique abode. Elegantly understated yet decadent, it offers a true retreat from the bustle and grind of modern life. The flamboyant tone of this stunning home is offset by its authentic Thai flavour, while quintessential Thai hospitality, staff are on hand to meet guest’s every need. The four-poster bed is framed by chic drapes, finessed with the finest linen while beautiful embroidered tapestries and golden silken soft furnishings add a distinguished note. In classic Thai style, proximity to water, and a natural interplay between indoor and outdoor living offer a breezy feel, while the generous and airy proportions and sleek, private decking set the scene for an idyllic retreat. Taking a bath under the stars, or enjoying a cocktail by the pool will be about as good as it gets, setting the scene for a romantic break for a couple or a culturally immersive stay for a family. With an array of sumptuous dining options on-site and personal concierge, guests every need will be taken care of, while the Ayurvedic spa offers the ultimate mind-body restoration. Villa Solada is akin to a mini Thai palace: authentic, charming, decadent yet home-like, it ticks every box for a restorative stay, in the most elegantly styled surroundings.

Villa Solada is in a chic resort, surrounded by tropical greenery and glistening sea views at every turn; guests will have the sense of having chanced upon their own private idyll, set on the almost unknown beach, Natai Beach, which stretches to almost 10km just 6km north of Phuket Town. While the bright lights of Phuket are just a short distance away, and the stunning islands of the Phrang Nga Bay are just a boat ride away, this stunning beach offers tranquillity and seclusion away from the bustle and commercial development of other parts of Thailand. Visitors can enjoy unspoilt peace among coconut groves and secluded lagoons, or the dazzling sites and temples of Phuket. Nestled on the Andaman Coast in the south of Thailand, Phuket is the country’s largest island and has drawn visitors for decades, while some of the islands in Phrang Nga Bay are virtually untouched by man and haven’t seen modern life. From buzzing nightlife to bustling markets with street food and local crafts to adrenaline-pumping watersports, or the tranquillity of the national parks or a taste of Thailand’s spiritual temple life, this region has something for everyone. With more than 30 beaches to choose from, among its most famous are Patong Beach, Kata, Karon and Kamala; however, travellers exploring further north will find some hidden gems off the beaten track. From Phuket, guests can enjoy a trip to the world-famous Phi-Phi islands, (featured in the 2000 film “The Beach”), and in particular, Phrang Nga Bay is a unique spot to visit. Its striking sheer limestone cliffs that jut vertically out of the glittering emerald waters, leaving lasting memories. Set on jade waters of the Andaman Sea, the Phrang Nga islands are a must-see when in the region. With around 40 islands scattered across the bay, including the famous “James Bond” island, the Ao Phang Nga national park covers nearly 250 square miles of islands with limestone cliff faces, green lagoons and impeccable kayaking conditions. Kata Beach is one of the region’s finest, and offers plenty of opportunity for water sports, from snorkelling to diving to paddle-boarding. Kata is also known for its beautiful viewpoints (with Kata Viewpoint being one of the region’s most visited), its lively nightlife scene and its vibrant night market.
