The inviting villa "Son Segi" is a shining example of a typical Mallorcan country house with exceptional flair. This single-storey building with its brown wooden shutters to the windows and terrace doors offers a well-divided living space for a family or two to three couples (with or without children). The house is surrounded by a natural garden full of palm trees, bamboo grasses, and lemon and olive trees. The pool bar at the stepped shallow end is a particular highlight of the chic saltwater pool - what better place to enjoy a refreshing drink than in the cool water? The pool is linked to the house by a natural stone terrace, having sufficient space for six sun loungers and two sunshades to provide cool in the heat of the day. An L-shaped covered veranda overlooking a delicate fountain offers a generous dining area, particularly attractive on days when you want to make use of the built-in BBQ. At the far end of the extensive terrace you will find an informal lounge area with poly-rattan furniture, where you can laze in the hammock with your favourite book while your family entertain themselves elsewhere.

The veranda offers several entrances into the well-planned interior of the villa, where you are greeted by a classical rustic interior with terracotta-coloured floor tiles, heavy wooden beams, bright walls and stone pillars. The room is open-plan, sub-divided by a number of visual refinements, creating a thoroughly cosy and relaxed feel. A decidedly cosy living area with large corner sofa and nostalgic wood-burning stove positively entices you to spend a quiet evening in front of the TV. A partition with glass inserts separates this room from the dining area, which is furnished with solid wood furniture, and a kind of counter connects it seamlessly to the kitchen. The farmhouse kitchen with its dark wooden fronts is, of course, fully equipped with everything you could wish for to enable relaxed self-catering - after all, this is one of the reasons you chose this villa. The bedrooms are all furnished with double bed and spacious built-in cupboards. Whether you brought your holiday wardrobe with you, or purchased it at the markets on the island, there is plenty of storage space for it here. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower. The shower room also serves as a laundry room and has a door directly onto the terrace, making it the perfect route indoors from the pool. Everything you could wish for from a sophisticated villa can be found here in this compact house oozing pragmatism and tradition.

The delightful rural location at "Son Segi" sets the tone for your villa holiday, while still being just a five minute drive away from the pretty village of Sant Llorenc, where you can shop, eat at the local restaurants, or soak up the atmosphere at the colourful Thursday market. The villa is close to the road between Manacor and medieval Artà (some traffic noise may be audible, depending on wind direction), making even larger towns within easy reach for big shopping trips or just a stroll. A trip to the beach, or one of the many natural coves, is equally simple. If you like to keep active, this region offers countless hiking and cycling trails leading past pre-Christian megalithic towers whose origins date from the Talaiot culture: a jewel of Balearic history. We wish you an exciting, varied and harmonious holiday at the lovely villa "Son Segi".
