Description

Located in the small town of Spongano in the Salento area, 'Masseria della Quercia’ belongs to the baronial Palace Bacile di Castiglione. It is situated just 7 kilometers from Castro Marina.
The Masseria was built around ‘800 by the baron Filippo Bacile di Castiglione as a farm that could host the animals of his factory; at the end of the 20th century, the nephew Fabio Bacile of Castiglione decided to renovate it, transforming it into a house for one of his sons, Giancarlo.

The villa is located in the complex of the baronial palace and overlooks a large courtyard, surrounded by a vast walled garden of 15,000 square meters, with citrus groves, palm trees and various types of Mediterranean plants.
The structure consists of four hallways with vaulted ceilings characteristic of the Salento, divided into:
a large bright living room, connected to a long corridor that leads to 4 bedrooms (one double), 3 bathrooms, a dining room and a large well-equipped kitchen with a storeroom.
It is able to accommodate up to 9 guests.
There is also the possibility to having dinner near the ancient oak tree that dominates the garden.
It has a large covered parking and another structure, adjacent to the main house, consisting of: laundry, one bedroom and a bathroom for personal service.
Very quiet, suitable for families with children.
