The villa is set over two levels, providing guests with spacious living finished in calming neutral decor, with lovely traditional African design elements and art pieces throughout. On the ground floor, guests will be welcomed by an open-plan living-dining room that opens onto the shaded terrace and garden area. Bountiful seating awaits, as well as a dining table equipped to entertain a large party. And a separate kitchen ensures the biggest of Portuguese feasts can be whipped up with ease.

The bedrooms at the villa range from double rooms to convenient twin rooms, all finished in the same neutral tones as the living areas, enabling guests to relax in their serene sanctuaries. Some benefit from en-suite bathrooms as well as access onto either the garden or the sunny upper terrace, making sure the welcoming warmth of the sun is never far away.

The outside space at Villa Dea is delightful. Walled for your privacy, the garden area is well thought out in design. From shaded seating areas out onto a private lawn and pool area, you will have plenty of space in which to while away the time. Discover hammocks amongst the trees to enjoy a quiet afternoon nap or challenge a fellow guest to a game of table tennis. And with an outdoor kitchen with a traditional BBQ you can cook for your guests alfresco, serving up on the outdoor dining area, finishing with a glass or two of Porto wine as the sun sets on a beautiful day in Portugal.

#### Location
The villa is situated a short drive from the lovely coastal town of Carvoeiro on the glorious Algarve, nestled in the foothills of the Monchique and Foia mountains. A picturesque and traditional resort town, Carvoeiro enjoys a spectacular coastline of sandy beaches backed by dramatic natural scenery. The town itself is full of charm and character, offering plenty of bars restaurants and shops. However, it retains a peaceful ambience, making it the perfect destination for families.

For beach lovers, the town has a beautifully sheltered sandy bay, protected by majestic cliffs, just in front of the main square. So, whether you're soaking up the sun on the sand or enjoying a coffee in one of the cafes in the square, you will enjoy stunning views. Those who prefer to be more active can enjoy a range of sports including jet skiing, snorkelling, sea kayaking and pedaloes. Or for the more adventurous take a boat trip around the wonderful coastline and explore the fabulous caves. In the Summer months when more visitors frequent the area, beautiful Praia de Marinha is just a short drive away and voted one of the top ten beaches in the world.

Other activities in this beautiful area include some wonderful hiking routes, along the cliff tops or into the mountains, as well as some fantastic cycling routes along the empty roads. For the younger guests, there are two great water parks within easy reach as well as a thrilling theme park.

The local area is steeped in history, so make sure to indulge in its Portuguese heritage. On the cliffs above Carvoeiro visit the remains of the walls of the Fort of Senhora da Conceicao, dating back to the 17th century. Or a fantastic day trip to the Moorish castle in Silves is a must, whether by car or by boat along the Arade river. Enjoy riverside walks and views across the surrounding countryside from the castle walls. And there are plenty of cafes nearby to quench your thirst. The traditional fishing town of Ferragudo is also well worth a visit, a pretty place that also boasts a fantastic beach.
