The property is located in an expansive rural area including a wood, pool, and topiary garden. The cottage benefits from its own entrance and a garage, while the pool is shared with Frédérique and Rémi, the property's owners, who live nearby in the master house with their dog. At any time of year, the cottage is exceptionally cosy and comfortable - there's a lot to be said for looking into a longer winter rent here, where you can really explore and appreciate everything the amazing region around Loiret has to offer.

The cottage is located in a small city on the River Loire (one of the last untamed rivers in Europe) and is only 7 km from the beautiful medieval city of Orleans. You'll find everything you need to make your stay comfortable within easy walking distance, including a bakery, a supermarket, a butchers, bars and restaurants. A regular tram line will get you straight to the center of Orleans, which makes Le Lierre Cottage the perfect base from which you can visit and explore the Loire Valley and its beautiful chateaux, vineyards, cathedrals and old villages. The cottage also benefits from being only 1 hour away from both Paris and Versailles by train or car.
