This beautiful holiday home with private pool was built in the late 19th century and is located about 500 metres from the small town of Balbano and only 9 km from the charming town of Lucca. The house is surrounded by a beautiful 7 ha large and completely fenced park, which is partly covered with pine trees. The location offers a beautiful view of the Lucca countryside. The property also includes an adjoining building, where the key holder lives discreetly. He will not only welcome you on arrival so that you will feel at home, but he will also give you unforgettable culinary emotions as he is a valued and respected cook who, on request, will provide you with an excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. On request you can also participate in cooking classes (including bread baking and making delicious pizzas in the wood oven). For his dishes, the chef will use the products from his vegetable garden, which you can also buy on the spot. On request, he also organizes grocery shopping, yoga and Qi Gong courses (in Italian and English). The place is ideal, not only to spend pleasant days outdoors and by the pool (salt water), but also for interesting trips to the most beautiful cities of Tuscany: Pisa (20 km), known for its Leaning Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Each year, on the 16th of June, the Luminara festival takes here place. This feast is in honour of San Ranieri, the Saint patron of the city: on this evening all the electric lighting along the river Arno is turned off and the promenade is lit with thousands of candles. Florence (105 km), Arezzo (162 km), Siena (157 km). The beaches of Versilia are only 25 km away and are ideal for sunbathing, here you will also find promenades with shops and good restaurants.
