Located in Fagagna, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Castello Oilia provides a unique accommodation with a history spanning centuries. The castle, a wonderfully surreal location and provides a charming atmosphere that will enchant both young and old. Castello Oilia is a wonderful location and the perfect place to enjoy the Italian countryside.

Nestled within a large park the medieval Castello Oilia is a picturesque location, with rolling hills and fragrant fruit and olive trees, prefect for relaxation and respite. On it's ground there is a small chapel and the estate produces products such as limoncello, honey and jam.

On the ground floor of the cosy accommodation, there is a fully equipped country style kitchen with a dishwasher, wooden cabinets and a dining table. The large living room with feature fireplace and a television provides the perfect space for chilling out after a days exploring.
Upstairs there are six double bedrooms and one single bedroom, all are airy, pleasantly decorated with wooden beamed ceilings and a mixture of storage furniture. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom with modern finishings and relaxing and clean aesthetic providing a relaxing spa like experience.
The accommodation has Wi-Fi and central heating throughout.

Not only does Castello Oilia have a fairytale like exterior it's prime location in Fagagna is perfect for the exploration of the surrounding areas. Visit the fortress-shaped city of Palmanova, just 34 km away and recently named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 16km away in Udine, culture and cuisine are right around the corner visit The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art or dine at one of the many eateries serving authentic Italian cuisine and pick up some local wine, cheese and olives whilst exploring the region.

Castello Oilia is a picturesque location 10km from the city of Udine where there are an array of places to discover and things to see. Visitors to the region enjoy the arts, culture and cuisine with an array or museums, restaurants and bars in the area so there is plenty to see and do. It would be a shame not to visit Mount Lussari in Tarvisio, hit the slopes in winter or hike in summer. Make a day trip out of your excursion whilst taking advantage of the wonderful views and scenery whilst exploring.
For those who enjoy sports there are many cycling trails around the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, cycle to Laghi di Fusine and enjoy the beautiful lake for a picnic. There are many sights to see and villages to explore on the different routes. For a round of golf or a game of tennis and other leisure activities there are many sports clubs, the nearest tennis club being seven minutes away.
