Description
Independent holiday home obtained from the renovation of a Saracen tower of XVI century located a few meters from the seaside of the splendid Riviera dei Fiori on the coast of Liguria. At guests' disposal: a large garden overlooking the sea, completely fenced and equipped for alfresco dining. In the garden there is a small bathroom with shower. The area is ideal to visit not only the beautiful beaches of Sanremo (10 km), Riva Ligure, Santo Stefano al Mare and Arma di Taggia (7 km) but also to visit the near Costa Azzurra (Mentone 50 km), passing through the Hambury Botanic Gardens and the area with prehistorically ruins of Balzi Rossi in Grimaldi and the beautiful museum in Ventimiglia. For bikers and trekking lovers, from San Lorenzo to Ospedaletti there is the longest cycling and pedestrian coastal path of Europe (a few meters from the accommodation). It offers breathtaking views overlooking the seaside. We recommend you the visit of Triora (35 km), the town of the witches, with the interesting local museum. The caves of Toirano are 50 km. The characteristic town Dolceacqua with the famous stone bridge and the ruins of the Doria's castle is 43 km. The area is famous for the cultivation of flowers, of olive oil and some kind of red and red wines.
