Villa Fulgida is an elegant and welcoming three-story historical villa built in the 19th century, situated at a short distance from the shores of Lake Como. It sleeps 20 people. From Villa Fulgida you will enjoy a charming view of the lake and of the mountains. Villa Fulgida is 600 square meters (6460 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a gorgeous private terrace with a view of the lake, a private patio, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 1 km (0.6 miles) from the borough of Santa Maria Rezzonico. You will find the closest restaurant at 700 meters (770 yards), a grocery store at 500 meters (550 yards), the stop for the ASF bus C10 Como - Menaggio - Colico line at 150 meters (490 feet) and the closest beach at roughly 600 meters (660 yards). You will reach Villa Fulgida from the parking area along a short walkway that is flat.
For a succesful stay at Villa Fulgida we recommend having a car. You will be able to park it free of charge inside the entrance gate.

The rental price includes: electricity; heating; continental breakfast; towels, changed daily; maid service from Monday to Saturday 5 hours each day; linens, changed twice a week; chef/cook. Villa Fulgida is surrounded by a park 30000 square meters (323000 square feet) large, which was originally designed as an English garden in the mid 19th century and features age old trees of great beauty.


Acers, cork oaks, redwood pines, Chilean monkey-puzzle trees, cedars and Japanese bamboo are just a few of the beautiful and rare botanical examples that can be admired there.


In this lovely green area there is also a small vegetable garden with a variety of fruit trees and a tennis court.


At the back of the villa there is a truly ancient stone cellar with vaulting ceilings and a vast selection of  local, Italian and international wines.

Swimming Pool
You will reach the swimming pool from the garden going up approximately 25 stairway steps. The pool is 6 meters (20 feet) large by 10 meters (33 feet) long, 1.2 meters (4 feet) deep. It can be heated if requested (additional cost applies -- please enquire with our staff). The area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, sun loungers and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a pleasant view of the garden. The pool is open all year round.
Garden
The garden is 10000 square meters (108000 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by century-old trees. You will be able to reach it from the living room and from the game room. In the garden you will find a children's playground. From the garden you will enjoy a wonderful view of Lake Como and of the mountains.
Ground FloorPatio
The patio is 150 square meters (1615 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by an awning. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the patio you will enjoy an enchanting view of Lake Como and of the mountains.
Living Room
The furnishings of the living room are elegant and welcoming, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include two sofas, two armchairs and a desk. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels), a DVD player and an Ethernet plug for broadband Internet connection (don't forget your cable!). From the living room you will be able to enter the patio and the garden with a view of the garden, of the lake and of the mountains through seven French doors. The room is equipped with an air conditioning unit.
Dining Room
You will be able to enter the dining room from the living room and from the game room. The furnishings are elegant, and include some antique pieces. The dining table can accommodate 20 guests. The room has a window with a view of the garden, of the lake and of the mountains. The room is equipped with an air conditioning unit.
Game Room
You will be able to enter the game room from the dining room. Here you will be able to have fun with a ping pong table and a football table. The furnishings include two sofas. From the game room you will be able to enter the garden with a view of the lake and of the mountains through four French doors. It also has a window that opens into the first bedroom.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the corridor. It is professional-grade, equipped with a six-burner gas cooker, a gas oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!), a toaster and other small appliances. From the kitchen a French door will take you to a patio and the garden.
