Description

Sitting high on a ridge known only as the “Loma de la Caceria” (the Hunting Ridge), Blanco De Caza's great location makes the most of the breathtaking views with luxurious indoor and outdoor spaces opening out towards the surrounding panoramas and gentle beauty of the Mediterranean Sea.
Renovated in the spring of 2014, the property stays true to its Andalusian roots with lush courtyards, terracotta flooring and traditional white walls. Yet Blanco De Caza still exhibits a contemporary, bohemian character with art-deco decorations throughout and bespoke furnishings that invite guests to let their cares melt away in style!
Swathes of exquisite marble give the property at atmosphere of elegance and class. With three en-suite double bedrooms, Blanco De Caza offers spacious and supremely comfortable accommodation for up to six people in complete and blissful privacy. Beyond the private pool the hillsides slope away into the valley below and out toward the Mediterranean, with pastoral olive groves and vineyards filling the distance in between. Above all this, the peak of La Maroma (the highest mountain in the region) looms majestically.
For a fully pampered experience call on the villa's extra services that include a private chef, massage and beauty therapists, concierge and additional housekeeping staff (to name a few!). Rented together with its nearby companion property Cortijo Maria Camilagroups of up to fourteen people can enjoy the entire ten acre estate in total seclusion. Walled in and separated by mature gardens, the two properties are far enough apart to ensure privacy but close enough to allow an exclusive occupancy of the entire hilltop estate.

It's the perfect combo of the privacy of your own personal villa, with all the luxury and convenience of a hotel. What's included?

#### Features
The interior of the newly renovated property reveals a charming bohemian style with art deco furniture, local art and modern touches adorning a light and airy 100 square metre open-plan living space. At one end you'll find the fully equipped gourmet kitchen with an attached dining room that looks down to the valley below and the Mediterranean Sea beyond.
Central to the living space is a cosy fireplace, cocktail bar and high-tech entertainment system (including a videogame system - not just for the kids!) Along with the fireplace, underfloor heating and air conditioning throughout the villa ensure comfort for all seasons, while solar panels and a highly efficient heat pump system mean the villa has a minimal carbon footprint.
Though all three bedrooms are supremely comfortable, each en-suite and one with a private sitting room, the master bedroom suite is pure luxury! Here you'll find a spacious marble clad bathroom with both a large bath and separate shower room, television entertainment system and a private covered terrace and garden with sun loungers for taking in the south facing views over the Mediterranean. The master bedroom features a queen size bed, while the guest suite also has a 160cm bed that can be separated into two singles to suit the dynamics of the group. The final bedroom has two single beds that can be joined for couples.
Surrounding the house are mature gardens with swathes of vibrant bougainvillea and further terraces, courtyards and a gated, heated swimming pool. The courtyard that greets guests upon entering opens onto a commodious outdoor kitchen and dining terrace complete with a Gaudi-inspired fireplace, barbecue and built-in bread oven.
A second, more intimate courtyard doubles as a shady outdoor living room, centred around a palm cluster nestled behind the house with a covered day bed and leading up to the open pool terrace with panoramic views of mountain and sea. From here steps lead up to yet another covered lounge terrace with yet more breathtaking views from above the property and a formal meditation garden beyond.

#### Location
The local village is only 8-10 minutes away and not only provides all basic amenities but also marks the start of the Mudehar route, a string of Moorish white-washed villages distinguishable by Mudehar architecture that's reflective of the region's rich history. Nestled amongst the slopes of Maroma, the tallest peak in the region, you'll find an excellent driving tour stretching some 25 km to Competa.
The cliffs and beaches around Nerja (about 40 km away) are among the most stunning of the southern coast, while Nerja itself is great for shopping and dining. Yet the nearest beaches, in Torre del Mar, are only about 25 km away and reachable within half an hour. Here you will also find the nearest golf course, while all along the coast one can find opportunities for water sports and fishing.
Malaga, at 50 km (within an hour), offers a surprising level of sophistication and culture, cosmopolitan street life, dining and shopping. The old Moorish Alcazaba, the bustling port development known as Muelle Uno, the cathedral and the botanical garden are some of the highlights and are well worth exploring. Malaga also has the nearest airport and is also accessible within one hour. Granada and the famous Alhambra are accessible for a day trip at 100 km (within 1.5 hours), as are the ancient Cordoba Mosque (170 km, within 2 hours) and the wonders of Seville (220 km, 2.5 - 3 hours).
