Description

Light and spacious, Villa Catina enjoys a quiet location close to the golf resorts of Quinta da Marinha and Oitavos. The nearest beach is less than ten minutes away by car, so it's an ideal base for a quiet family holiday.
Villa Catina is comfortable and well-equipped, with plenty of spacious rooms that offer flexible living. Its decor offers a warm look and feel throughout and makes this villa a real home from home.
The accommodation is set over several floors and a separate garden apartment. A basement is home to a bedroom with twin beds and a sofa bed for two children. There's also a bathroom and a games room.
On the ground floor is a living room with comfortable sofas and chairs that sit around an impressive fireplace. Doors open out to the pool terrace and further outside space. The dining room has a large table that seats up to twelve people and further doors that take you into the garden. The fitted kitchen is well-equipped and spacious, making it ideal for socialising whilst cooking. There's also a bedroom with a double bed and a toilet for extra convenience.
To the first floor are a further three bedrooms. The master suite features a double bed, a sofa bed for one additional person, and an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower. One bedroom has a double bed, and the other has a total of two single beds – with one pulling out from the other and remaining at floor level. There's a lovely family bathroom for use by all guests.
The garden apartment is comprised of a bedroom with a double bed and two single beds. There's also a bathroom with shower, a small kitchen and a living room.
Within the outside space are terraces with areas of outdoor furniture for relaxing and dining. The garden is home to a beautiful partially-covered barbecue and dining space and a swimming pool. The terrace around the pool has a generous amount of sun loungers and close by is an annex with sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and shower rooms. Lawned areas provide lovely places to play for the children.

It is 5 min. drive away to Cascais beaches and very close to the natural park of Sintra.

#### Location
As the villa is located close to two golf courses, you have access to their facilities on your doorstep. At Quinta da Marinha is an 18-hole championship golf course and another at Oitavos. Here there are a range of other sporting facilities, as well as several restaurants.
Less than 10 minutes away by car is Guincho Beach, one of the most popular beaches in this area of Portugal. Its golden sands lie at the base of the Sintra hills that form part of a natural park. Soak up the beautiful scenery and views across the sea as you relax on the sand and the children play and then head up to the cliff tops for a coastal stroll.
Once a humble fishing village, Cascais is now a town with plenty to offer visitors and it's just a 10 minute-drive from the villa. It has its own stretches of beach and a marina, as well as a charming old town. Here you will find squares full of historical buildings and plenty of family-run restaurants to stop in at for lunch after all the sightseeing. Museums and mansions are key features of the town, with the Centro Cultural de Cascais, Museu Condes de Castro Guimaraes and Casa de Santa Maria being particularly interesting to visit.
Sintra is a beautiful town that nestles within the foothills of the Sintra Mountains and its landscapes could be taken straight from the pages of a fairy tale. It's just under 25 minutes north of the villa by car. Majestic mansions soar from the pine-covered hills, with Pena Palace being a must-visit site. This Romanticist palace is beautiful inside and out and it offers some truly breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
