Description

Villa Kyania is a traditional, ‘farmhouse' style villa in Vilamoura, on the Algarve; sympathetically restored with subtle, understated style whilst retaining much of its rustic charm.

Nestled in its own lush gardens and grounds in the rolling countryside between Faro and Loule, this is a stunning ‘home from home' which boasts its own pool. The villa has a wonderful open, lateral lay out and is surprisingly spacious, accommodating up to twelve across five bedrooms.

Pulling up into stunning tree-lined avenue, this holiday home casts an impressive silhouette, its mustard tones and grand facade very much in keeping with the spirit of the locality.

The interiors are finished with immaculate taste, with splashes of opulent design flair, wonderful solid wood furnishings and chandelier lighting, along many of the original features such as exposed timber, large open fireplaces, ochre tones and farmhouse style kitchen.

Guests will immediately relax within this roomy style haven, so tranquil, so subtly finished - it combines modern rustic style with accents of luxe.

There is a wonderful “flow” through the villa; the gorgeous open plan living space offers a large solid wood dining table as well as chic mustard toned fireside seating and comfortable sofa. The vast open fireplace with original stone, tiles and sloping ceiling retain the country feel. Stunningly lit, neutral tones with splashes of ochre, interiors enthusiasts will be impressed.

The huge family kitchen in traditional colours has a large central island and is flooded with natural light, and leads directly onto the outdoor terrace area.

Ideal for large groups, a couple of families or a large family - this villa is roomy, airy, and the thick, ancient walls keep it cool and fresh in the summer months whilst being warm and cosy in the winter. Aside from the open plan living space, there is a further ‘snug' with wonderful cosy fabrics and soft upholstery.

The bedrooms are every bit in keeping with the style of the villa; simple yet elegant, they boast neutral tones, clean lines, wonderful light, traditional wooden shutters and sumptuous crisp white bedlinen. There are two bedrooms with double beds, two bedrooms that can be used as either double rooms or twin beds, and a further suite with twin beds. Three bathrooms are shared among these rooms, as well as a further separate WC.

The outdoor spaces really set this villa apart, with tranquil cloistered veranda ideal for al fresco dining, to poolside table and chairs for evening drinks and nibbles to the traditional courtyard family dining space, guests will truly enter the spirit of southern Portuguese living.
