Description

La Borie is a beautifully restored two-storey stone cottage that was once a shepherds shelter. The house is beautifully furnished in provencial style. French doors lead onto stone terrace with a fabulous BBQ, a spacious green private garden and comfy outdoor furniture. In only two minutes you can be in the middle of the lavender fields, sit at the pool or go for long quiet walks to discover the beautiful surroundings.

From every window the house offers a spectacular view. From the bedroom windows you can see the lavenderfields and hills of the Luberon. Often you might hear the bells of the sheeps that pass by.

Every season offers spectular experiences. From November to February the famous truffles can be bought on the local markets or eaten in of f many fine restaurants, in spring the cherry blossoms are in full bloom and warm temperatures are nice and warm, therefore it offers a good way to escape the cold and rainy North, from June to August you'll find the entire Luberon in full bloom of lavender (you can take a glass of wine, some local goat cheese and a baguette and watch the sunset next to our own lavender fields), in summer it is nice and warm, the markets offer fresh fruits and vegetables, in October it is perfect for every painter to catch the spectular sunsets, go hiking or mountainbiking, etc.
