Description
Lilac Lodge is situated in a brand-new luxury Holiday Village on the edge of the New Forest while overlooking a pretty wildlife lake. The accommodation enjoys spacious open plan living, including the lounge, dining area, kitchen and raised spacious veranda, all overlooking the private lake. With two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and two bathrooms (one en-suite), this lodge is a perfect choice for up to four people who are seeking a peaceful and restful break in a stunning location.
You do not need to stray far to also enjoy some wonderful walks within the natural beauty of the New Forest with its abundance of free roaming animals, together with other wonderful places to explore, including the local historic towns and other villages dotted along the Hampshire and Dorset Coast, including wonderful bays, coves and water facilities.
Although the New Forest has its array of wild animals and charming villages, not forgetting local pubs and restaurants, any stay would not be complete without a day trip to the charming Cathedral City of Salisbury, with a wide range of boutique shops, independent pubs and eateries, and of course the Cathedral itself. The coast is also only a short drive with its attractive beaches and resorts.
Without leaving the park there are various activities available together including a children’s play area, small restaurant and bar, fishing lake, mini golf, bike hire and an assortment of activity and leisure programmes. There are a couple of great local inns a short distance from the lodge that will enhance your stay. PLEASE NOTE: The cafe/bar and activities are seasonal and will be closed November- March.
Dogs are also welcome ( we do apply an extra charge for this)
