Let us welcome you to our quiet and clean Guesthouse. Fully separate and private, with a cozy king bed, a full kitchen and laundry room. Experience a truly different stay with the perfect blend of privacy and service -- unlike many other hosts, we live on property grounds in the main house which is a traditional style bed and breakfast*, and are always available 24/7, to welcome you, answer questions, or for additional housekeeping services, while still having your own privacy and space. We also offer a delicious breakfast at an affordable price every morning (optional). We are perfect for small families, or couples and friends looking for a clean, quiet, and friendly getaway for a relaxing time in south Florida. We welcome business travelers as well. There is free parking available and a host of other services and amenities you'd expect from a standard hotel, such as wifi and cable, on demand movies, shows and books, and many more . Our neighborhood is safe, and the guesthouse and property grounds are secluded and always monitored. Free parking on site. Guesthouse is fully detached from the main building and is located in a secluded area in the back yard away from the street. Large, private backyard patio with outdoor kitchen at your disposal. 750 sq/f, 1 BR with king bed and walk-in closet, large living room with sleeper couch, dining area, kitchen with large fridge and dishwasher, stylish bathroom with shower stall and laundry room with washer and dryer at your disposal. 24 hour check in. WiFi, basic cable TV, free movies, books, etc. The space very clean, tidy, and well furnished. Kitchen is stocked with basics and a full range of cooking necessities.

We are in a quiet, residential area, so we recommend having a rental car or Uber/Lyft to get around. We are in a safe neighborhood for walking, but we are not really walking distance from the local attractions. Convenient location near Hollywood Beach, Miami and Ft. Lauderdale are only a short drive away, plus local attractions. We're only 7 minutes from the beach in Hollywood, and half hour from south beach, minus the noise and crowds! Sawgrass and Aventura malls are a 20 minute ride away. Small pets(see below, with fee), Kids and Business Persons welcome! We're great for a short (or long) vacation, or if you're traveling on business or taking a cruise. We'd love to see you!

Basic rules and things to note:

- If you would like to make a reservation with a check-in date more than 6 months in the future from the current date, please send us a message first. Because of the way pricing is manually handled on the website, the quote may not be accurate so far off in the future. I'd be happy to verify the prices or send you an updated quote.

- We do not allow visitors on our property due to insurance and liability concerns. Only paying guests who have been added to the reservation as full guests at the time of booking are allowed access to the cottage and property grounds. The maximum number of guests is 4.

-The second bed is a pull out sofa bed.

- Swimming pool access 10 AM - DUSK (Chapter 514, Florida Statutes and Chapter 64E-9, Florida Administrative Code (FAC), prohibits “night swimming”) Must sign waiver before use. We ask that you shower before using the pool, let's keep it clean and oil free for everybody. Plastic glasses and bottles! Teenagers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The bubble spa is not heated. Typical temperatures during the winter/summer are ~70/85 F.

- We charge extra for reservations with more than two guests, and closely monitor for compliance with this rule.

- Smoking inside is prohibited, but you are welcome to smoke in the outdoor areas.

- We are not a good fit for noisy guests, or people looking to 'party' or hold 'events' in any way. Any noisy activity which disturbs our and our guests' peace will be stopped promptly. If we detect evidence of drug use or visible intoxication, you'll be asked to leave.

-The property is under our direct observation as well as external CCTV video and audio surveillance 24/7 in order to ensure everyone's safety and compliance with our rules.

- We welcome certain pets. Pet fee is 25$ per animal, non refundable. You must send a description of your pet, including weight, breed, and disposition with your booking request! 20 pound maximum, friendly breeds only. Must be attended 10pm - 8am. Pets must be kept inside at all times. Dogs may not go to the bathroom on the property, they must be taken to a dog park or walked nearby the property. We have our own small pet dog and cat on the property, and any visiting pets must be trained and not hostile if they should encounter them.

- Free street parking is available on the property grounds. We have ONE parking spot . Unless previously discussed, we cannot accommodate anything larger than a Standard SUV or Small Pickup.

- Guests are responsible for basic cleaning, and are asked to maintain the space in sanitary conditions during their stay. Spills, stains and other dirt should be cleaned up promptly.

- Essentials such as basic food, soap, toiletries, coffee filters and so on are provided to you at the beginning of your stay and should be in sufficient quantity for the majority of stays. If you require additional essentials or items you should bring them with you or purchase them as needed.

- The apartment has a laundry room with modern appliances, and we also offer housekeeping services for a fee.

- We run a 3 guestroom, traditional style bed and breakfast from our own home, which is the main building on the property. Certain outdoor amenities on the property, like the patio and swimming pool, might be shared with us and our bed and breakfast guests and our pets.
