Description

The historic cottage is surrounded by breathtaking views and scenery.
It's right with its nose on the famous Killary Fjord, the only Fjord in Ireland. The magical area takes you far away from any light or noise pollution.
You will enjoy daytime blinding sunshine and nighttime astonishing million starlight's.
Wake up on the singing concert of birds mingled with the bleating of hundreds of sheep.

I also organize cycling tours around magical Cong.

The place is of outstanding beauty. It's perfect for people who love nature, quietness, solitude, peace. It's the unspoilt countryside so most people living here are farmers or holidaymakers.

There's a few pubs in Leenaun village in walking distance of the cottage.
There's also two small shops in the village.
There's a supermarket in Letterfrack village which is 20k from the cottage.
For main shopping with big supermarkets and other shops the nearest town is Westport 30k from the cottage.

It's in the centre of many famous places to visit in the west of Ireland and Connemara.
- The Killary Fjord and Leenane, at your doorstep.
- Clifden, Connemara's capital, 40km away.
- Kylemore Abbey, 15k away.
- The cosy, vibrating town of Westport, 30k away
- The famous village of Cong, well-known for its Ashford Castle and for the film "The Quiet Man", 40k away
- The breathtaking Valley of Lough Inagh, 15k away.
- The Aran Islands, 60k away.
So, a lot to visit as well.

It might be convenient to let you know I can communicate in 4 languages if you want to:

An extra attraction this year will be: 'Galway 2020, the cultural capital of Europe'
