> Beautiful, bright, open floor plan with lots of space located on the south coast of the island, minutes from the airport and near the ocean with magnificent views. Close to beaches, golf, surfing, Oistins and the Friday Night Fish Fry, St. Lawrence Gap, groceries, the fish market / local produce, bank, gas, restaurants, and various local fare (fish cakes & flying fish cutters - Yum!).

> The house comfortably accommodates 6 people. Each large bedroom has air conditioning, a private bathroom, wardrobe and ceiling fan. Two bedrooms open directly to the interlock patio and private full size 14 x 28 infinity pool with outdoor BBQ/Grill (beach towels and loungers provided).

> If needed, a single cot is available and can be set up in one of the bedrooms. Although our house limit is 6, in certain cases 7 might be considered. Prior approval is necessary.

> Open doors and windows allow gentle breezes to flow through the house. Ceiling fans located throughout with floor fans also provided.

> If cooking is your pleasure, the open style kitchen includes granite countertops and breakfast bar seating and is amply equipped with a full array of dishes, pots and pans, appliances and utensils. Fridge with freezer and ice maker, microwave, stove, toaster, toaster-oven, kettle & coffee maker.

> Relax in our favourite room, the Great Room, a family room setting in the center of the house that opens up to the TV room (cable TV w/ movie channels) and the dining room. Here you can relax with a coffee or meal as you view the sea, read a book, play games or just lounge and enjoy.

> There is also an office space, central powder bathroom, a landline for local calls, WiFi/Internet and a laundry room with washer and dryer for your convenience.

> Surfing, Kitesurfing - 5 min to Long Bay Beach & Silver Sands
> Golf - 10 min to Barbados Golf Club
> Kermit's - (local rum shop/restaurant) - 5 min

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a complimentary refreshment by our Property Manager, June who will answer any questions you may have and then leave you to begin your holiday! Should you have any questions or concerns during your stay, June is only a phone call away. (243-1570)

TRANSPORTATION
> Exploring the island is easy and if you decide not to rent a car, island transportation is close at hand. ZR mini-vans ($3.50 Bds or $1.75 US) run up and down the coast road, and local buses also travel along the coast in and out of Bridgetown. Taxis are easy, reasonable and plentiful; you can arrange pick-ups and drop-offs to the beach, airport or other destinations, including island tours. Barbados is a friendly island and people are always willing to assist.

> If renting a car is your preference, we use Southern Rentals Barbados (246.428.7013). Owen and Astrid offer online booking discounts and provide reliable, easy and convenient airport pick-ups and drop-offs. Don’t forget to tell them we sent you! If renting a car, there is free street parking in front of the house.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

> OUR RATES INCLUDE THE BARBADOS REVENUE AUTHORITY (BRA) MANDATORY NIGHTLY TAX OF 10% US$ BASED ON THE NUMBER OF NIGHTS IN YOUR STAY. THIS TAX BECAME EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1, 2018.
> Extra charge for guests over the 6 maximum. $30 US per person/per night. Prior approval requested.
>Electricity charge of $0.65/per kWh will apply IF guests go over the 30 kWh daily amount included in the nightly rate.
> Check-in / check-out times are flexible, depending on availability. Check-in before 7 am or after 8 pm or Check-out before 7 am or after 8 pm will be subject to a service charge of $80 Bds or $40 US payable upon arrival or departure to our Property Manager.
> Basic staples can be purchased in advance on your behalf by our Property Manager ($50 US service charge plus the cost of groceries). Just let us know and arrangements can be made.
