Description
A magnificent luxury stone-built villa overlooking the Deia Cove, only a short distance from the beach and 1.5 km from the picturesque village of Deia itself. The village that was for many years the home of the English poet and novelist Robert Graves. The highly-reputed fish restaurant on the beach is considered to be one of the finest in the Balearic Islands. Set against a backdrop of native island pines, the house faces the sea so that all the bedrooms enjoy splendid sea views. With its large swimming pool, sun loungers, hammock and open-air dining table seating up to ten guests, this is an ideal villa for a family or a party of friends. The tastefully-decorated accommodation includes a spacious entrance hall, a living room and TV lounge, two separate dining areas, and four large double bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom. Exposed wooden beams are a feature of every room and the whole villa is immaculately maintained to the very highest standard. From the main living room, French windows give access to the bougainvillea-draped porch and to the swimming pool beyond, while the shaded terraces surrounding the house provide a choice of locations for enjoying breakfast and other meals al fresco. With its atmosphere of refined yet simple luxury tempered by the mellow tones of stone and wood, and its high-quality interiors enhanced by the Mallorcan sunlight flooding through the generously-proportioned windows, this villa offers a unique opportunity to sample the delights of life in rural Mallorca.
