Description

This characteristic Umbrian farmhouse is part of a property dating back to 17. Century and is composed of 3 units overlooking the surrounding countryside until Todi. The main accommodation is the most panoramic and from its patio one can enjoy a stunning view on the pool and the gently rolling Umbrian hills; the annex is just few meters away and the third accommodation is sometimes inhabited by the owners. The well kept garden is at guests’ exclusive use and there are also an infinity pool and a large equipped gazebo ideal for al fresco dining or just to relax. Stone made outdoors barbecue with kitchen and fireplace. The rental includes a dinner with local wines and traditional Umbrian dishes, made of biological products the owners get from their vegetable garden. The restoration of this rustic hamlet was made with care and attention by using only authentic and fine materials. There furnishings are antiques and the barbecue tiles are from Sicily. In summertime the area around Todi is rich in food and wine festivals but also cultural and musical events. The medieval and characteristic castle of Petroro, partly belonging to the house owner, is just 150 m away. Distances: Todi 8 km, Montefalco (know as “the balcony of Umbria”) 20 km, Spoleto and Perugia 40 km, Assisi and Orvieto 55 km, Roma 142 km, Siena 145 km, Florence 190 km.
