Description

This delightful mountain house in Fonzaso, surrounded by woods and meadows, is the ideal solution for those in search of clean air, silence but also happy evenings, spent having dinner outdoors after cooking with the barbecue in the large outdoor fireplace. The house can be reached along a narrow mountain road of about 10 km. From the house there are hiking trails suitable for families and more demanding routes for the more experienced guests. Furthermore, this is a strategic place to discover the regions Veneto (Venice 100 km, Vicenza 80 km, Treviso 70 km, Belluno 45 km) and Trentino with its castles and splendid lakes (Trento 80 km). The centerpiece of the house is the splendid living room, surrounded by the windows of the terrace and overlooked by the large bedroom on the first floor. In the nearby Lago del Corlo (20 km) you can swim or go boating or kayaking. But, if you love water sports, the other alpine lakes are also nearby (Lake Levico and Caldonazzo at 60 km, Lake Calaita, 45 km, and Lake Santa Croce, 60 km), such as the beaches of the Adriatic Riviera ( 100 km). From the house you can start to discover historical-artistic itineraries that, crossing small towns and historic villages (Feltre, Bassano del Grappa, Mel, Fiera di Primiero ...) arrive at the wonderful Venetian cities of art, or lead to visit the immense heritage of the Venetian Villas and the beautiful Castles of Trentino. In addition to the restaurants, numerous fairs taking place in the area from May to October will give you the opportunity to taste typical products. For those who love beer, in Pedavena (20 km) is the largest brewery in Italy; while if you love excellent wine, you can spend a day visiting the Prosecco hills by stopping to visit wine cellars. The water in the house is fed by a controlled cistern, but it is not potable and must be used consciously.
