Description

With its clever and unique design, Blue Gum House is suitable for a romantic couple retreat, for a group of friends or a family getaway! Blue Gum House is managed by the owner. Emails, phone calls and messages are answered promptly.
Please note, due to the virus situation, chemicals and cleaning procedure have been upgraded.

Blue Gum House offers:
-Three bedrooms (each with a built in wardrobe), the main bedroom has a king bed, the blue room, a bunk bed (top bed only suitable for a child) and the loft bedroom, a double bed. All beds are made prior arrival.
-Two bathrooms: the main bathroom has an in ground double spa bath, a shower and toilet. The other, a shower and a toilet combined with laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer). One bath towel per person, one hand towel and one bath mat in each bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand liquid soap, toilet paper and hair dryer are provided.
-The kitchen has an electrical oven, gas cook top, microwave, fridge, toaster, electrical kettle, dishwasher, crockery, glasses, cutlery, serving plates and cooking utensils. Cling wrap, aluminium paper, paper towels, tea towels, paper napkins, coffee, tea, sugar, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper are provided.
-The kitchen has an open plan onto the dining room area (table and six chairs), the TV area and the slow combustion fire place area, wood provided inclusive to the price. The 37 inches LCD television has the basic paid package paid TV. A DVD, VCR together with CDs, DVDs and videos. Further, there is a collection of books, games boards and puzzles.
-An open air paved area with a table and benches, a gas BBQ with two gas bottles looking onto the peaceful garden, with many trees, flowers and birds.
-A lawn at the back of the house. Great area to play.

Blue Gum House will allow you to experience the true life style of a Blue Mountains local being tucked away form the busy tourist routes.

Blue Gum House is situated to a walking distance to Govetts Leap Look out where is the start of many beautiful walks in the world heritage listed Blue Mountains. There are tracks for every fitness level. Blue Gum House is also within walking distance of Blackheath Park. On your way there, you will pass Blackheath open air public swimming pool (Open from October to April).

Blue Gum House is situated close to Blackheath village where you can find everything you need: groceries, bakeries, vegetables, delicatessen, news agency, bottles shops and many more! The village has many restaurants: Italian, Thai and Chinese and some take aways: Turkish and fish and chips as well as pubs and cafes. Something not to miss out too, is the very interesting antique shop where you can have trip back in time or visit many art galleries that feature local artists.

There are a multitude of things to do...

-Walk to the Wildlife Heritage Center, you will be able to learn about the Blue Mountains.

-Walk to Govetts Leap look out and Evans look out where is the start of wonderful walks in the Blue Mountains.

-Visit the Rhododendron Garden in Bacchante Street, the best time of the year is October and November to admire the 1 500 rhododendrons in the garden.

-Drive to the Zig Zag train, worth the ride!

-Few minutes drive away from Blackheath golf course.

-Walk to the public open air swimming pool (Open from October to April) and swim.

-Drive to Megalong Valley where you can do some horse riding.

-Drive to Katoomba (15minutes) where you can see the 3 sisters (very touristic).

-Drive to Jenolan caves (60 minutes).

-Drive to Mount Victoria (30minutes) and watch a film at the old cinema. And many more...
