Description

Situated within 40 beautiful acres, the property is a warm, traditional, detached converted stone barn, offering luxury, peace, tranquillity and stunning views all around. The property is the sole holiday home on the estate, so you don't have to share the lovely gardens and grounds with anybody else!

There are many great features for everybody. Relax and unwind by the Willsworthy Brook in the secluded guest gardens or enjoy some lovely walks and picnics around the grounds. There is your own stretch of the splendid River Tavy to enjoy (with single bank fishing rights). You can even take a dip in our rock pool, the perfect place to cool off on a hot summer’s day or why not try your hand at Clay Pigeon shooting, which is available onsite. In the evening you can take in the stunning views of Dartmoor and gorgeous sunsets from the courtyard seating area.

The estate also has a stable yard and an infamous Shetland Pony named Jerry, who is perfect for younger guests to pat and groom. Alternatively, you can explore the moors on horse back as there is a horse and pony trekking centre just ten minutes drive away. If horses aren't your thing, why not take an Alpaca for a walk at Lydford Gorge Alpacas.

Nearby is the award winning market town of Tavistock with its famous pannier market and plethora of shops, pubs and restaurants. The beaches on the south coast of Devon and Cornwall are easily reached. Nearby attractions include National Trust properties such as Lydford Gorge and Castle Drogo or visit Becky Falls and historic Plymouth, with its Hoe, Barbican and National Marine Aquarium.

All of the cottage accommodation is located on the first floor, except for the twin bedroom which is located on the ground floor. The great benefit of this arrangement is that each and every room has a wonderful countryside view. Luxury bedding, soaps and fluffy towels are provided, as is free unlimited Wi-Fi.
