Description
Villa Lucia is a spacious five-bedroom villa situated in the fishing village of Canical, at the south-eastern end of the island. In this peaceful location you can enjoy the infinite sea views, as well as views across to the local port. This modern villa has a vast open-plan living and dining space, with ample seating for everyone, flanked by patio doors to the balcony and the views beyond. There is a sleek and fully-equipped kitchen, and access from here out to the external dining area with table, benches and brick barbecue – a great spot for dining alfresco. Villa Lucia is a great choice for groups of friends or families holidaying together with its five comfortable bedrooms; three king bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, with two bathrooms to share and one shower room on the same floor as the bedrooms, plus a further shower room on the ground floor. Also to be found on the ground floor is a games room with pool table and table football, which is great for spending some time having fun away from the sun. Externally, Villa Lucia also offers ample space with a large and inviting private pool, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a swim. Located within Canical, this resort is renowned for its harbour with colourful fishermen’s boats, seafront walks, the quaint Whale Museum and delicious fresh fish restaurants. Villa Lucia is a 10 minute walk to the natural sand beach of Prainha, which makes for a great day out, especially at low tide, when the beach gets longer. It is hidden in a beautiful cove, accessible by a pedestrian path and the sea is usually calm and clear here. This part of Madeira is very special, different to all other areas in Madeira: more dry, more arid, yet strikingly beautiful, but still within easy reach of the capital, Funchal, a 30-minute drive away.
