Large holiday apartment in terraced house, with shared pool, at only 400 mt from the sandy beach of Lignano Sabbiadoro. The house is located in a residential resort within the Marina Uno Tourist Port, close to the outlet of the River Tagliamento. It features a large outdoor space furnished with table, chairs and barbecue for relaxing moments alfresco. The swimming pool is located at 50 mt. Lignano is a renowned beach resort, rich in beach clubs, pubs, attractions for the whole family, large pine groves and parks, such as the famous Park Hemingway. The beach can be easily reached on foot or by bike, thanks to the many cycle lanes connecting the area. Many are the services available at the Marina Uno Tourist Port (with fee): scuba diving, boat rentals (with or without boat license), moorings, boating school, underwater fishing and scuba diving classes, sailing classes. Some of the activities are also available in English. Three towns in the surroundings of Udine are worth visiting, as they are part of the UNESCO World Heritage: Aquileia (50 Km), famous harbor of the Roman Empire, with interesting archeological sites, the National Archeological Museum, the Cathedral with its marvelous mosaics. Palmanova (50 Km), with its peculiar star-shaped fortress. Cividale del Friuli ( 70 Km), an ancient hamlet dating back to the Medieval Age, with a famous Duomo and many other buildings of the Lombardic age. The town of San Daniele del Friuli, on the hills above Udine, at 65 Km, offers its Duomo, the prestigious and historic library Guarneriana, with a collection of very ancient texts. It’s famous for the production of the acclaimed IGP ham; don’t miss the chance to visit the ham factories and join delicious tastings. Full-day excursions to Venice (100 Km) or Trieste (90 Km).
