The Norwood

Description

The Norwood, a smoke-free home, is comfortable and homey. The house is not on any body of water and is secluded yet shopping and boating are both easily accessible. Social distancing is not an issue as our home is on its own acre of nicely wooded property. Plenty of room to park your boat or trailer, and we even have one 30amp RV hook up.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed; master bath, shower only. One bedroom has 2 twin beds; the other bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds and is large enough to include a crib or playpen. The Norwood sleeps 8 comfortably. The second bath has a tub and shower. Each bedroom is suited with dressers, allowing you to feel right at home instead of "living out of your suitcase." The living room has a gas fireplace. The open plan of this home allows the warmth of the fire to be felt throughout. Relax on the screened front porch with your morning coffee or watch the local deer families come through as the sun sets behind the trees. Kitchen is fully equipped for your gastronomical cooking delight. Don't want to heat up the kitchen? Need additional cooking space? There is a screened-in outdoor kitchen as well. Concerned about laundry? Don't be. The Norwood has a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Due to the Covid outbreak, we do not accept back-to-back reservations. We allow for at least a few days between so as to adhere to CDC recommendations. Your safety and comfort is our goal.

There are plenty of opportunities to see and experience what country living has to offer. If you choose an equine experience, Soquili Stables is a 5 minute walk. Learn what it is like to take care of 15 horses on a daily basis. Go for a guided trail ride or take riding lessons. You will never forget the feeling of bonding with a horse. As Winston Churchill stated, "There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man."
