Description

This centuries old property compliments the charm of the rural village of Gharb, which is a gem in itself with its quaint streets, and splendid church. The village also boasts exceptional country walks.

Property still retains rare features of when the property was a working farmhouse including, its own arched mill room with fully functional fireplace - now a beautifully furnished living space. Excellent for the winter months.

A separate kitchen and dining area also retains the ambiance of times of the past, when it was the heart and centre of rural family life. The old back garden has been turned into a spacious sun lounge with a great sized private pool. Completed with a built in stone BBQ area ideal for a summer evening meal.

The property sleeps 8, in four rustically furnished bedrooms (one with ensuite facilities) on the first floor, all of which retain old original features - some with arches spanning the room and others with stone roof side supports. All of which are quite rare to find in present day Gozo. The bedrooms are accessible through a wide airy corridor overlooking the pool area, again an old feature which takes you back centuries and gives the place a serene and cool ambiance. This floor is also equipped with two separate shower rooms.

Included in this accommodation: All beds will be prepared with the appropriate bed linen, along with extra blankets in the wardrobes should you need further layers. In addition to this, you will also be provided with 2 towels per person - which will be placed on the beds ready for use.

The bedrooms are equipped with AC units that are available with an electronic coin system (€1 & €2 coins) installed at property with a screen to display the credit remaining, each AC unit consumes around € 2 per night.

We will also provide all bookings with 1x dishwasher tablet and 1x washing machine tablet per night of your stay.

Maid service is included when you book for 8 nights or more.

The city of Victoria is 3.5 km from property and here you can enjoy the rich history from the knights time while unwinding yourself in one of the coffee shops you can find here.

Malta Government Eco Tax

Kindly note that price does not include Malta Eco Tax, we are required by law to collect it on arrival from all tourists, including locals from the age of 18 and over. The tax is € 0.50c per person for each night spent on the Maltese Islands. Capped at a maximum of €5 per person for each continuous stay. This is paid locally in cash only and collected at check in by one of our staff.

Fully refundable security deposit

A mandatory fully refundable security deposit of € 400 for private pool properties and € 200 for properties with shared pool is needed to cover for any damages (excluding normal tear and wear) or/and missing items and will be charged from the card on file with the rest of the amount due 2 weeks before arrival date. This amount will be refunded automatically within 7 days of checkout. Baron Holiday Homes have 48 hours from checkout to report any damage or missing items to guest in writing.
