In the far north of the island, Corralejo has some of the most magnificent beaches in Fuerteventura, with multiple beaches in the town itself! From the sparkling stretch of white sands at the award-winning sand dunes national park to the four major ones located in the town itself, served by cafes and restaurants for your convenience, there's a beach to suit everyone's tastes!

The town is also a fantastic base for scuba diving, and regular trips and courses are run to the world-class local dive sites, including the diverse and rich waters of Lobos Island! This island is a magnificent nature reserve that feels fabulously remote, like a castaway island! It has been uninhabited since 1982! The boat journey is just 15-20 minutes and has many trails for hikers and nature lovers to explore! You can cover almost the whole island in just 2-3 hours.

Fuerteventura is a volcanic island famous for its beaches! Across the island, you will find countless opportunities for outdoor adventures! Of course, the many miles of stunning beaches lend themselves to all kinds of water-sports. Indeed, it is even known as the Hawaii of the Atlantic, or ‘the European Hawaii' thanks to its crystal clear and warm waters and fabulous surfing seascape. You can also take kitesurfing lessons, both on the land and water, to perfect your skills and learn how to work with the wind and the waves!

For the active types among the group, renting a bike is a great way to explore the island, and is both a safe and enjoyable choice thanks to the many bike paths that run alongside the main roads and well-marked trails. The island has a strong connection with several countries of South America, cultural heritage and history you can learn about in several places, including learning a little of the native language!
