Description

La Grange is a recently restored old farmhouse and barn set in a small farming hamlet in the heart of the Limoges area in the Limousin region.

Although part of the farming hamlet, it's beautiful heated salt-water pool and large poolside terrace are set against a private woodland at the back of the house, offering guests an attractive and private setting.

Indoors the decor is modern and soothing with many original features such as the stunning beams and carefully restored original stone walls. Each of the four bedrooms has its own bathroom, three of which are en-suite and two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor.

The living space in the barn is light, social and relaxing with the kitchen having great access to the pool and outdoor eating area. With its own self-cleaning system and hard cover for extra peace of mind with children around, a morning swim before breakfast as the sun comes up is the perfect way to start the day. The outdoor dining terrace is perfect for enjoying a barbecue or a relaxing alfresco lunch in the glorious French sunshine, and sampling some of the delicious local produce.

The nearest village is only a 10-minute drive away and where you will find a supermarket, local bakery and bar. Le Dorat and Limoges are just some of the options making for great day trips out and a trip to Lake Pardoux is recommended, where guests will find a variety of water sports, restaurants, a man-made beach and a water park.

La Grange offers a comfortable and attractive base for relaxing and exploring this beautiful region.
