The loungers encircle the pool so the sun can be followed all day, for optimum basking. There are plenty of other outdoor spaces to revel in, from the table and chairs at the end of the garden where a morning coffee can be enjoyed to the balcony where the sun setting over the ocean can be seen.

#### Location
What was once a small fisherman village twenty years ago is now one of the most beautiful and popular resort towns in Portugal. Carvoeiro, located in the Algarve region, is a tourist hot-spot that has a more laid back nature than other holiday areas in the region. It is also one of the most picturesque, with a coastline, cliffs and coves that are breathtaking and said to be the most beautiful in Algarve.

There is plenty on offer in and around Carvoeiro to keep all holiday goers entertained, from plentiful beaches to stunning mountain scenes.

It is beaches galore in this region, with turquoise waters and awe-inspiring cliffs at every turn. The closest beach is Praia do Carvoeiro, a smaller but equally as stunning spot surrounded by the fisherman's white houses and spotted with colourful fishing boats. Other charming beaches near Carvoeiro include Praia dos Caneiros, which is just an 11-minute drive and Praia do Carvalho, which is a 15-minute drive. One of the most notable beaches in the area is Praia da Marinha, which has countless accolades as one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal and is also just a 15-minute drive.

You can take your ocean exploring to another level and experience the coast and visit century old caves and grottoes from the sea with the multitude of boat trips and tours available.

There is more to the area than stunning beaches and by heading inland you will be greeted by the magnificent Monchique mountains, with the highest point standing more than 900m high. Take a hike or drive to the top for spectacular panoramic views.
