8 Copper Rigg is a well-equipped and comfortable terraced cottage close to the historic centre of Broughton-in-Furness in the south-west Lake District. Enjoy the convenience of award-winning pubs and excellent local shops on your doorstep as well as a scenic walk to nearby fishing ponds and woodland. Broughton is a superb base from which to explore the western Lake District with its tranquil lakes, stunning mountain scenery and beautiful coastline. The central Lake District (Windermere and Ambleside) are within an hour's drive while Coniston is less than half an hour away.

There is a wide range of tourist attractions, historical sites and leisure activities to fill your holiday with. Ride on a steam train from Haverthwaite to the Lakes Aquarium, visit Muncaster Castle with its owns sanctuary, enjoy the spectacle of tigers, lions and rhinos at Dalton's zoo or take a boat ride on Coniston Water. Pre-historic stone circles, historic house and ancient castles abound. Choose from mountain biking in Grizedale Forest, canoeing on the Duddon River, horse-riding on Silecroft beach or simply make the most of glorious vistas of open sea, shimmering lakes and lofty mountains...

The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge, gas hob, electric oven and washing machine. The open-plan living area is furnished with a dining table, sofa and easy chair. TV with DVD player and Wi-Fi. There is a box of toys and a high chair and travel cot can be provided on request. There is also a cloakroom with WC on the ground floor. Upstairs, a large master bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds can accommodate up to 4 guests. The bathroom has a WC and bath with shower head. Gas central heating throughout.

Outside is a small fenced patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. Off-road private parking for one car is available to the rear of the property. The property to the rear looks out over the village fire station.

8 Copper Rigg is a minute's walk from the centre of the village with its picturesque buildings and friendly family shops. There is a children's playground nearby.
