Villa Sigma is a luxurious couple-friendly one-bedroom villa on the scenic Greek island of Skopelos. Nestled between green pine and olive trees, the villa is private in peaceful surrounds and enjoys stunning views of the sea and Skopelos Town below. In the town – 3km from the villa – you'll find local eateries, alongside sun-drenched beaches stretching uninterrupted along the coastline.

The exterior of Villa Sigma is classically Mediterranean in style with rustic stone features, whitewashed walls and terracotta-red roofs. The interiors are decorated with elegant handpicked furniture, light coloured fabrics and artistic lights for a modern and welcoming feel. Inside you'll find a comfortable living and dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a shower room with a washing machine. The inviting master bedroom has a double bed, a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite.

Stepping outside, you're greeted by a shaded balcony area with a table and chairs for dining al fresco while soaking in the breath-taking vistas. Walk down a couple of steps, and you're onto your sun terrace where there's a private swimming pool, cushioned sun loungers and a garden area dotted with potted plants, shrubs and trees. There's also a traditional barbeque and an open kitchen. Take a cooling dip in the clear waters or while away the afternoon with a book on the curved seating area.

Located up on a hill in Raches, this villa is perfect for couples who'd like to enjoy a quiet, relaxing holiday in a unique and natural setting. Ideally placed, but we advise car hire is essential, with plenty of shops, restaurants and things for you to see and you. Visit the medieval castle with its sweeping views of the Aegean, the stone houses with picture-perfect courtyards or the paved streets dotted with traditional houses and draped in vibrant bougainvillaea flowers.

#### Location
Villa Sigma is ideally located in Raches, a peaceful area, on the sun-soaked Greek island of Skopelos in the western Aegean Sea. Famed for its eye-catching landscapes, clear waters on golden coasts and traditional Pelion architecture, the greenest of the Greek Islands (more than half of the island is covered with pine forest), is a popular holiday destination for a good reason.
In Skopelos Town, 3km from the villa, there's a perfect horseshoe harbour which clings to the low hills that rise up from the water. You can wander the town's streets with shops selling everything from beauty products handmade from olive oil and honey to artisanal jewellery, crafts and delicacies. Stop for lunch or a drink at a local taverna with vine-covered terraces overlooking the sea.
For a cultural day trip, there are many Byzantine churches in the area, alongside the remains of a 13th-century Venetian castle at the top of town. From there, you can enjoy views over the port and coastline. As you wind down back towards the harbour, there's the Museum of Folklore to find out more about your surroundings or the beautiful port side church of Eisodia tis Theotokou to visit.
From Skopelos, there are ferries that run between the Sporades islands to Agios Konstantinos on the mainland, Kymi on Evvia and Thessaloniki. You can explore the rugged coastline and go swimming and snorkelling in the pristine waters. Other water sports on this Grecian island beckon including sailing, diving and stand-up paddle boarding, and you'll find plenty of find opportunities to do these.
