Description

Enjoy a unique stay at this home away from home created in the unique pajaru style, specific to the Italian region of Puglia. It's the kind of place you will never forget, and that will be the one of the top highlights of your stay.

Spend your days by the private pool, rocking in the hammock, or head down to the beach, which is just a short walk away.

The interior of the home is incredibly unique. The living and dining area is very minimal but has everything you could need and want, such as a comfortable couch and a dining table perfect for a romantic dinner for two. The kitchen is well-equipped and at the end of the living space.

The bedroom is built in a Pajaru, a traditional Puglian dry stone hut. Like the rest of the home, there is everything you need and nothing more helping create an environment that encourages relaxation. There is a large circle bed, a swing chair and very little else in the bedroom, which means you can truly appreciate the traditional style of home. The bathroom is incredibly modern, with a large shower that boasts a beautiful crystal wall. The sink is in an old stone vat, and like the rest of the home is very unique.

The outside area is equally as beautiful and you can see just how well the house has been built in the harmony with nature. There's lush gardens and vegetation surrounding you, with a large table at the foot of an ancient olive tree. The pool is the ideal spot to relax and take a dip, and it is salt water to further respect the environment.

This villa is located in Gagliano del Capo in the Puglia region. It's just under an hour's walk into the centre, or a 7-minute drive (4km). Here you will find the odd restaurant and bar offering authentic treats. The sea is just a 10-minute walk away and there are many other great bays close by - like Grotta di Novaglie (400m), Porticciolo di Marina di Novaglie (600m) and Torre di Novaglie (650m). The villa is also just a 55-minute drive to Lecce (64km), a city that boasts loads of breathtaking Baroque buildings.
