Description

If you want to spend your time in Mallorca relaxing on rattan lounge furniture on a spacious covered terrace from breakfast by the pool up until a BBQ dinner rounds off your eventful (beach) day, you won't be able to beat this super-cosy, sunny yellow, quiet and yet well-situated villa. If things get too hectic by the 12 m pool you can shut the curtains around the covered terrace, extend the awning, and enjoy a UV protected siesta. Gently sloping stepped lawn terraces, all kinds of trees, as well as small ornamental palms create a tidy and playful area on just outside of Santa Margalida. The spacious parking area in front of the house is also great for badminton, bowls etc. If you really want to enjoy the slower pace of life at "Es Coscois" take a walk through the friendly little town or visit the bodega; and the clear views over the woods and the meadows to the Serra de Tramuntana will allow you to really breathe again.

"Es Coscois" provides you with an excellent basis for your perfect holiday: Comfortable and well-maintained living with modern convenience is the measure of all things. The large fitted kitchen, the antique dining room with connection to the outside terrace, three bedrooms and two bathrooms (one of which is an en-suite) are really hoping you'll give them the chance to make your holiday stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms radiate Mallorcan elegance and are painted in subtle tones, complemented by large-format, abstract pictures on the walls. The well-upholstered two and three-seater sofas and chairs welcome you to have a nice conversation over a bottle of wine or a even enjoy a siesta. Small extras are a matter of course: a piano is ready and waiting to lighten the mood (perhaps you can refresh what you once learned), in the fully-equipped cocina, you can also have a coffee, read the newspaper, or be inspired by a TV chef to create some tasty seafood dishes. The double beds with thick mattresses provide you with a good night's sleep; two of them are 1.5 m wide (the large one is a 1.8 m) and would also be great for one person to use. Two bathrooms score highly with corner bathtubs, easy entry into the rainfall shower, and towel warmers – in short: the homeowners have simply thought of everything! Older guests will especially appreciate this.

If you want to spend your holiday amongst the locals in the green countryside surrounding a charming wine town, and at the same time quickly go down to the sea at the Bay of Alcúdia (25 km of beautiful beaches), Santa Margalida is the place for you. You can buy fresh products and try regional white and red wines at the shop belonging to the local winery Galmés i Ribot. The bustling family-friendly resort of Can Picafort with a huge promenade, bars, and restaurants, and the still wonderfully quiet beach destination of Serra de Marina can be reached by bike (if you're in shape) or in a few minutes by car. You can experience a totally different atmosphere when you visit the necropolis of Son Real, a unique Talaiotic tomb complex from the Iron Age that bears witness to the early history of Mallorca.
