LOCATION:

Villa La Palapa is located at the exclusive Puntacana Resort & Club, a gated resort & residential community with 24-hour gated entrance and security.

The villa is conveniently located approx. 3 miles from Punta Cana International Airport – just a short 10-min drive and you’ll arrive at Villa La Palapa. If you want to go off property to explore the local area, the Puntacana Shopping Village and Blue Mall Puntacana are located just outside the resort and you can easily get there in a rental car or with our pre-arranged transportation service ($).

Villa La Palapa is located on the La Cana golf course; a 27-hole championship golf course designed by P. B. Dye, with 4 oceanfront holes and 14 holes with ocean views.
From Villa La Palapa you’ll be close to the most incredible virgin-like beach of Playa Serena with powdery white sand and clear, shallow ocean. Just a quick drive (or walk), and you’ll be jumping in the ocean! Playa Serena is very suitable for families and small children, as the ocean is rather calm and shallow. If you want a beach with a little more life, you can easily go to Playa Blanca Beach Club which is also inside the resort.

To get around the resort, the villa rental includes two 4-passenger golf/touring carts, which you may use to go anywhere inside Puntacana Resort & Club.

THE SPACE:

Villa La Palapa is a spectacular 8000 sq. ft. villa built in 2 levels and with a big, private backyard and lawn. This is probably one of the most interesting villas that you’ll find in Punta Cana – the contemporary design combines European elegance with Caribbean vibes.

The villa has 5 beautiful and comfortable bedrooms with ensuite bathroom.
The entrance to the villa is very clean and minimalist, but as soon as you enter the wooden, swinging front door, you'll instantly get a warm and tropical welcome.
At the heart of Villa La Palapa you'll find the lush, beautiful garden with palm trees and white stone pathways that gives this villa a truly Zen atmosphere. The villa has an open design from the front entrance all the way through the spacious terrace, pool area and garden.

The terrace and garden area offer an incredible space for lounging, dining, relaxing and entertaining. Tucked neatly on one side of the villa you’ll find an outdoor basketball court (one hoop). The backyard offers a great green oasis with trees and palm trees. This is a very flexible and comfortable space that invites you to spend most of your time at Villa La Palapa.

The villa is air conditioned but also offers you plenty of outdoor space if you prefer the feel of the warm, Caribbean air. Spend your days swimming in the pool, lounging on the deck or playing in the tropical garden. Enjoy a delicious lunch served on the terrace and take a nap pool side and let the Caribbean breeze carry you away…

There’s plenty of space outdoors for you to enjoy!

DOWNSTAIRS:

Villa La Palapa has 2 bedrooms located downstairs. The 1st bedroom has a Queen bed, air condition, ceiling fan, closet, ensuite bathroom with shower and a private “courtyard” terrace with garden.

The 2nd bedroom is the “kids’ room” with 4 single/twin beds, air condition, ceiling fan, closet, desk and ensuite bathroom with shower.

From the bedrooms, you’ll walk through the garden, which is in the middle of the villa, to get to the casual living room. This space has big windows, it’s air conditioned and has a nice sofa sitting area, TV, assortment of books and ceiling fan.

The modern kitchen with island is fully equipped with everything you need to cook wonderful and delicious meals during your vacation. If you prefer to hire a professional chef for the duration of your stay and to make your vacation life easier, you also have this option available ($).

The kitchen connects to the indoor dining room with dining table that seats 10-12 people comfortably. But maybe you prefer to dine more casually on the outdoor terrace by the pool where you have another dining table and also a comfortable sofa lounge area.

UPSTAIRS:

Upstairs, you’ll find the last bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom has a king bed, air condition, ceiling fan, big windows, a desk, closet and ensuite bathroom with shower. The 4th bedroom has 2 queen beds, air condition, ceiling fan, closet and ensuite bathroom with shower.

Last, but not least, the master bedroom. This lovely suite has a king bed, air condition, ceiling fan, TV, closet, ensuite bathroom with double vanity (2 sinks), shower and bath tub. The master suite also has a private rooftop terrace with sun beds, chairs and a stunning view of the pool, backyard and golf course.

VILLA STAFF:

When you stay at Villa La Palapa, you’ll have a maid and a butler included. The maid will clean the villa, make the beds, wash towels and linens. The butler will assist you and the staff around the villa, serve drinks & food, etc.

You’ll also have a villa manager during your stay. This is your go-to person for anything you need during your stay, e.g. transfers, excursions, reservations for restaurants, spa treatments, reservations for golf, tickets to events and nightclubs, etc. if you have not booked these prior to your arrival. Additional fees apply to all extra services. Our villa managers speak English and Spanish as a minimum and will be on property to greet you when you arrive to the villa and available throughout your entire stay.

PRE-ARRIVAL CONCIERGE SERVICES:

Once you book Villa La Palapa, our in-house concierge will be at your service to assist you in planning your stay from A to Z. You may choose these additional services at your convenience. All services are subject to availability and extra charges, i.e. they are not included in the villa rental price:

- Private airport transfers from Santo Domingo, La Romana and/or Punta Cana Airports
- Rental cars and other transportation
- Golf cart rental (for convenient transportation inside the resort; not for use on the golf courses)
- Chef service (personal chef)
- Spa treatments or in-villa massages
- Golf tee time reservations with shared transportation
- Excursions (catamaran, deep sea fishing, ATVs, zip lines, etc.)
- Grocery shopping (cost price of groceries + 15% service charge)
