Start your day exploring the resort with a golf cart ride to nearby Jolee Island and Baytowne Marina, and of course, make the 5-minute ride to the most beautiful beaches of the Emerald Coast! At Jolee Island, stop for a nature walk and picnic and take in many unique native flora and birds.  Spend time at the Baytowne Marina and watch the fishing boats return with their day’s catch.  Stay and make a Bayside adventure of your own and rent kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, a pontoon boat, or simply enjoy the sights.  

Take it back to neutral with an easy drive (or bike ride!) over to the beach where sugar-white sand and sparkling emerald-green waters await.   If you prefer biking, any of these destinations are easily navigable by bike using the resort’s miles of dedicated bike paths and crossing tunnels.

Ready to perfect your swing? The Links Course is just one of four on the Sandestin® Resort.  Set up your tee time and with your central location have plenty of time to spend the rest of your day lounging by the pool or on the beach!  Tackle your other swing, with a pick-up match at the nearby Sandestin Tennis Center.

Spend your afternoon relaxing on The Salty Sandpiper's patio and enjoy views of Sandpiper Lake.  Enjoy the newly renovated kitchen where there's enough space to spread out and reconnect with loved ones over brunch.  With plenty of counter space, coordinated appliances, and great storage, you will be able to comfortably prepare and serve your group.

Settle into the spacious living area where comfortable furnishings and splashes of blues from the shoreline will remind you that the beach is not far away.  A large dining table seats 6 with views of the lake, with additional seating for 4 at the breakfast counter.

After a spectacular day of lounging by the community pool, swimming in the Gulf, and fearlessly taking on (and conquering) the Stand-up Paddleboard it’s time for a good night’s rest.  The options for comfort continue through this Bayside cottage with a tranquil primary bedroom with a king-size bed and en suite bath with shower, a guest bedroom with a king-size bed, and a third bedroom with two twin beds. The guest bedrooms share the hall bath with a shower/tub combination.  Each bedroom includes a TV, perfect for winding down with a movie or something from your favorite streaming media provider with WiFi access.  

Complete your day with fun at The Village of Baytowne Wharf!  Dozens of restaurants, shops, and great family entertainment await - and it`s all just a minute away from The Salty Sandpiper.
