Description

Bring the entire family-tree with you to Quinta da Batua, a collection of villas set across enchanted landscapes! Nestled in one of Portugal's most picturesque environments, an offering of up to seven bedrooms and the exquisite interiors ensure all who travel can indulge in its luxury throughout your escape!

Three villas have been perched atop a mountainside, giving elevated views and unparalleled privacy. In the middle, lies the main house, Casa do Jallo which sleeps up to ten and on its left and right lie Casa da Josa and Casa da Jenila respectively. Each dwelling has used the mountainside shale stone in its construction of the exteriors. The rock has also been used decoratively and for furnishing throughout the interiors, which have been finished with a gloriously sleek and contemporary design!

For couples in the family or those who would simply prefer to stay together, Casa da Josa and Casa da Jenila offer the most suitable hideaways, offering intimacy and exclusivity. Each of the villas offer huge double-beds and plump, comfy sofas for you to kick back and admire views from floor-to-ceiling windows, which also bask the villas in rays of sunlight! Both villas offer intimate fireplaces, and Casa da Jenila's sofa can be extended to accommodate sleep for one or two children!

The main villa, Casa do Jallo is the centrepiece of Quinta da Batua and rightly so! Set across two floors, the main villa offers an unbelievable five bedrooms to choose from. Providing varied bedding, with your choice of either a double-bed or single-bed, each room offers access to the remarkable terrace, where drinks can be enjoyed with the entire family or group across its vast space as you admire the sunsets across the valley! Just like the other two villas, Casa do Jallo offers en-suite bathrooms in every room, adding a privileged sense of convenience on your escape!

The indoor area of the main villa has been designed to ensure all guests of the estate can gather together for an unforgettable time. With all the guests in one place, it may be hard to focus on the television, but it will certainly keep you entertained should you choose to do so! Plus, it will certainly add to the ambience and background noise, and the fireplace and splendorous views through the panoramic windows heighten the tenderness of moments here! A fully-equipped kitchen is a place to cook a feast and serve it in this room across two tables seating a whopping sixteen guests!

Outdoors, Quinta da Batua brings the first-class spread of places to truly relax. A spa area, complete with a sauna room and jacuzzi means you can rejuvenate and revitalise before stepping onto the soft, grassy lawn barefoot! The pool is massive and heated, and sun-loungers have been placed here, so everyone is afforded views of mountains, valleys, vineyards and the River Douro!
The three properties that make up the estate of Quinta da Batua can also be rented as independent villas for smaller groups or couples. The main house of Casa do Jallocan be found here and sleeps up to 10 guests between its 5 bedrooms, and the two one-bedroom properties, Casa da Josa and Casa da Jenila, are also available to rent separately.
