Summary:
Villa Saracen is a large villa with a stunning private pool situated just two minutes away from the beach at Saracena Cove on the West coast of Sicily and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The property is made up of a main house as well as two separate dependences within the grounds. In total there are 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and the property can sleep up to 12 guests in total.

The Space:
Outside, guests will enjoy absolute privacy and can make the most of the fantastic salt water swimming pool with Roman staircase. The gardens are stunning and provide the perfect setting in which to relax. As well as the large pool ( 12m x 11m), there is a lovely poolside solarium, 2 outdoor showers and an outside bathroom with shower, whilst for those that enjoy eating outdoors, there is a BBQ area and outside dining space furnished with table and chairs. Inside, the main house has an open plan living and kitchen area as well as the first of the double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. A double sofa bed is in a separate part of the living room, separated from the main living space by a screen wall. The first dependence also consists of a living room with its own kitchenette, 2 bedrooms (one double with en-suite bathroom and a twin) as well as a second bathroom with shower. The second dependence again has its own kitchenette, ideal for guests to prepare breakfast as well as two further bedrooms (one twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and a double bedroom as well as another bathroom with shower). Please note that energy consumption up to 400 kWh per week is included. If required, additional consumption is charged at 0.40 euros per extra kWh. Please ask about possible discounts if you are a smaller group and don't need access to all five bedrooms. Please note that in July and August, the owner lives on the upper floor of the villa. At this time, the pool and garden remains for the exclusive use of guests and the owner will ensure you can enjoy absolute privacy. However, should you want any advice, he will be happy to answer any of your questions and give you some 'insider' tips on what to see and do during your stay.

The Neighborhood:
This is a lively, welcoming neighbourhood in which to stay, just a short walk from the beach, a bar and restaurant. Step outside the garden gate and you will be straight on the pathway that takes guests to the Saracena cove beach in just 2 minutes. The beach here is great for families with lovely shallow waters. Just a short drive away, guests can reach a selection of shops and other restaurants.

Getting Around:
A car is not necessary as you can walk to shops and restaurants but it is recommended if you wish to enjoy sightseeing trips further afield.

Other Things to Note:
We always love a villa where you can easily walk to restaurants and bars so this is ideally located for us! Being able to walk to the beach is an even bigger bonus!

Interaction with Guests:
Please note that the owner / caretaker lives on site during the months of July and August. He lives on the upper floor of the villa and will be happy to answer any of your enquiries about the estate and its appliances, or simply about the best places to visit in the surroundings as well as on the Sicilian way of life. Of course both the garden and the pool are exclusively for the use of guests and the owner will ensure that you enjoy privacy at all times. At other times of the year, a local property manager lives a few minutes drive away should guests need any assistance during their stay.
